Your effort was to nit-pick my use of "indefinite" articles and to blame me for the (mis)understanding of others. You didn't misunderstand what I was trying to say, but you were tacitly supporting the effort of the actual "trolls" who post, ad hominem; in support of their personal attacks.

Are you "insulted" by my comments? That is too bad, but consider the reality that I am not anymore responsible for your "feelings" than I am for the misunderstanding of the others in here who jump to stupid conclusions (not that yours were, btw).

What discourages me is that this site has as many people claiming to be "conservatives" as apparently ST has on theirs, but who are nothing more than stupid, petty tyrants who *jump* at the chance to insult and revile someone else's opinion, ad hominem. They aren't "conservatives" -- they are closet-socialists who join together collectively to attack for their "team" and not for any abstract, or real, conservatism.

If FR banned for spam, as the ST used as an excuse in my case, there wouldn't be the problem with such "misunderstanding". You might notice that several reasonable posters didn't heuristically/reflexively respond without justification? The others are the type of "conservative" that posts on ST -- petty dictators and unreasonable (i hesitate to say) human beings; sans intelligence.

How's that?

You are making it a little difficult for people defending you here to like you. When somebody "nit-picks" your use of indefinite articles as a means of trying to clear up misunderstandings and offer you friendly and constructive advice on how to prevent future misunderstanding, that really doesn't call for the type of responses you have directed to this and similar posters.

You asserted that you are not responsible for the "misunderstanding of the others in here who jump to stupid conclusions." While that is true, one of the qualities of a good writer is that he takes responsibility for preventing misunderstandings of the reader. In other words, a good writer makes a conscious effort to ensure that his words are clear and his intent is clearly communicated. A careful reading of your original post would indicate you were criticizing the other site's hypocrisy and not FR. However, your intent would have been clearer had you been a bit more specific in who you were talking about. As it was written, it is easy to see how readers misunderstood -- a result of their lazy reading and your lazy writing.

As for your contention that the people who jumped into this thread with their jpegs and comments are the real "trolls", most of these posters have well established their credentials as conservatives and they enjoy identifying and ridiculing the trolls who attempt to register on FR to post their idiotic and disruptive comments. You got caught up in their enthusiasm when a few people misinterpreted your post. Learn from it and work on using your writing skills to communicate more clearly when you post, and you will probably make some good friends.

sigh. Some people can't even communicate without vulgarity or vicious insults. Pal, no one forces you to attend the postings on this board. No one insists that you acquire membership. The owner of this board has strong (correct) opinions regarding the political dramas unfolding worldwide and/or the moral/religious values presented by the American people. Thus he started a forum in which to express himself and converse with others of the same ilk. Maybe even have a little fun in the process. Unfortunately, he did not do all this with you in mind. Strange as it may seem. Odd as it may come across. Amazing as it may appear, YOU were not his priority. It is his forum. You don't like his rules, take your teddy bear and go home.
