Someone had better get involved and I thank God that there are some in congress who will get involved and help Terri. This is such an abomination that in this civilized country, it is ok to murder a human being - Terri. It makes me so upset that she is being taken advantage of. How dare her so called husband do this to her; how dare he speak on her behalf. I know it's not my position to judge but Michael Schaivo seems to be below the scum of the earth. There has to be some ulterior motive on his part for staying in this when he could simply divorce Terri and let her parents take care of her. Oh yes, this is a private family matter and yes it does happen every day, but it should never happen when the human being involved never gave consent; Terri is the ONLY person who has that right and she is being denied. This is so upsetting and God help us if this maniac Michael is not stopped. He should be forced to divorce Terri. God bless you Terri and keep you in His care..

Its called MONEY. If she dies, and they are still legally married - he gets all of the money being held in trust from the outcome of the malpractice suit.
If he gives up guardianship, divorces her, and allows her parents to have her - He and his 'new woman' get nothing.

Cash is King. My question - what does Judge Greer have to gain from all of this? That is something to ponder. Does he really want to go down in history as the Judge who refused a woman the right to survive? I wonder...
