Whether or not this is legit I can't say, but it is an interesting turn of events. "Patricia" DOES sound legit and knows what she's talking about.

The New York Times reported yesterday that the judge's eyesight is so bad he does not drive a car. They also said he claims to be a "Compassionate Coservative" and very proud of his religious beliefs (excuse me while I go barf).

I think this is true ... not the first time I've heard it. Does it mean that his source of information is limited to what can be read to him? Does this compromise his decisions?

A caller into our local talk radio host here in Memphis posed this thought too. How can greer judge this case since he is legally blind and all the evidence that Terri is not in a vegitative state is visual?

This is true. I was at the hearing a few years ago with Greer presiding, they showed the video we are all familiar with, the one Terri watches the baloon. Greer sat with his eyes closed or looking somewhere else. I was told because he couldnt see it. Felos tells him what to say and do.
