I don't think you are confused. I knew what you were referring to.

When the Executive doesn't agree with the decision of a judge to put an innocent person to death, there's nothing in the Constitution to prevent the Executive from seizing the judge.

BTW, the "division of powers" arguments have an end of the line element in them ~ the question arises about "who may arrest the sheriff".

Good grief. Keyes is stating that court decisions don't have to be observed by anyone in the executive branch. The National Park Service is free to take your land and throw you off without compensation, and whatever the courts say is irrelevant, according to the gospel of Keyes.

This guy is an embarrassment.

means that the executive does not have to follow the judgment of the judges, but has his own separate responsibility to the Constitution and the law, and if he conscientiously believes that an injustice, a violation of fundamental constitutional law and right is taking place, he has an obligation not to acquiesce in it.

Wrong. Going down that road leads to impeachment. And Keyes neglects to tell us exactly what Jeb should do in defying the court. It is just repetitive generalized cant.

Frankly if what we hear in the media is true that he has basically cut his daughter off for being a practicing lesbian then anything he does or says does not surprise me and as far as being an embarrassment I find him irrelevant. I do not advocate homosexual behaviour but if it is true that he has basically disowned his daughter it is noway to encourage her to see that her lifestyle is the one in the wrong. Frankly IMHO if it is true about Keyes and his daughter his comments on Terri are not helpful because he cannot be taken seriously.

Hey everybody, I just was over in yahoo groups, checked out a few dozen Catholic groups. It's hard to find one that doesn't mention Terri Schiavo! Isn't that great? There are also several groups devoted exclusively to Terri. Word is definitely getting around. I so hope our legislators are getting the message.

My favorite video of Terri is the one where she laughs when her dad reminds her of when she used to tease her mother, and roll her eye (Terri had "lazy eye").

If anyone wants to see this video, which only takes a minute, visit:

Then go to Post #28 & click the link.

Keep in mind when Terri makes sounds, she is attempting to talk, but needs therapy in order to talk. Even without therapy, Terri can say a few words. Sadly, Michael won't allow her to have ANY kind of therapy.

Federalist 78 Hamilton is eight pages of which Keyes deems the following crucial in the extant matter:

Whoever attentively considers the different departments of power must perceive that, in a government in which they are separated from each other, the judiciary, from the nature of its functions, will always be the least dangerous to the political rights of the Constitution; because it will be least in a capacity to annoy or injure them. The executive not only dispenses the honors but holds the sword of the community. The legislature not only commands the purse but prescribes the rules by which the duties and rights of every citizen are to be regulated. The judiciary, on the contrary, has no influence over either the sword or the purse; no direction either of the strength or of the wealth of the society, and can take no active resolution whatever. It may truly be said to have neither FORCE nor WILL but merely judgment; and must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm even for the efficacy of its judgments.

I submit it is impossible for Hamilton to have foreseen the Soup Nazi refusing to allow DCF its sixty days to investigate abuse--while not examining the glaring fact that Terri Schindler-Schiavo was improperly placed in hospice without the required doctor's signature, without fulfilling the requirement of being terminal, i.e., having six months to live;

That Greer has received campaign contributions from Felos the Hemlock Society member, author of a soon-as-Terri's-dead-to-be-published book on "euthanasia", that Felos was on the board of this hospice (being billed for 15 million in Medicare fraud);

That Gus Bilikaris donated to Greer's campaign and gave Felos the legislative cover;

That Michael Schiavo will cremate Terri, thus tampering with further evidence of abuse caused by him, by Felos, and others at their instruction;

That when faced with judicial tyranny threatening imminent wrongful death, executive action is warranted.

There is nothing--nothing--to cause the death of Terri Schiavo except the unbridled ruthlessness of George W. Greer.

Michael Schiavo, George Felos, and George W. Greer are liable under RICO as coconspirators in criminal activity, namely, murder, abuse, fraud in the amount of millions of dollars of taxpayer monies.
