Every day some group, liberal or conservative comes out with a new survey on how the political attitudes of the American people. ThePew Research Center for The People and the Press found that the number of people who used the internet for political information rose substantialy between 1996 and 2004. Interestingly enough, according to the Pew people, most people went to news sites run by the networks or leading newspapers. Coming in second were sites such as AOl or Yahoo, which take news leads from Reuters or other news services.
What this boils down to is that although the medium in which people are getting the news has changed, Most of the online news services are the same ones that feed the networks, so if you are looking for un-biased reporting on the internet, forget it. Yesterday, there was a link on my start page about HIllary Clinton, so I clicked on it. What I read was the typical liberal-leaning mush about how Hill is converting Republicans to her side. I I don't think it was really news, but rather a political commentary about Hillary building bridges, and other such nonsense. Of course they had a little sound bite from a 'prominent' GOP'er who won't be voting for Hill, but nonetheless the damage was done. Chalk one up Hillary's PR machine.
