As of 8:AM today, not one so-called pro-life church or group has joined with ChristianPatriot.com. Christian-news-in-maine.com and the Cornerstone Gospel Church in Napes, Maine in an effort to make the Pro-Life community aware of and garner their support for HR-552. Not One!
As late as 7:30 last night the publisher of CNIM spoke to a fund raiser for Maine Right To Life. This is Maine Right To Lifes second call for moneyiwithin four days and the second time they claim never to have heard of HR-552, which is untrue. We at CNIM have e-mailed them twice, both e-mails have been dispayed on their desktops. While we do not know if they were read, they like the Christian Civic Leageu have been made aware of HR-552.
Copies of our reports and ACP's sermons were e-mailed to, amongst others, The Advent Christian church in Norway and the Christian Missionary Alliance church in Bridgton. They were printed out and hand delivered to the First Baptist church in Portland, not one of them even mentioned HR-552 from the pulpit.
It is appearing more and more as if stopping abortion is not a project to be done, just a cash sow. Yes sow, not cow, for the fundraisers are becoming ever more piggish and ever less interested in ending abortion, which is exactly what HR-552 does. Have any of you heard mention of HR-552 on the American...

It is starting to appear that the so called pro-life fighting groups and churches are in it for the money, not to save babies and end abortion, this is turning out to be one huge story.
Amazing to hear so called pro-life leader after leader tell us, "Oh, what is HR-552?" And this after we have four and five pages hand delivered to them.
Like to know if any have heard anything about HR-552, anywhere other than here on FreeRepublic, com, and CNIM.
Jake
Thanks for posting this. I have not heard of this from any media, "pro-life" or otherwise. Please keep us posted about this. I hope to call my representative about this soon.
End abortion, end a cash sow?
Thanks,
Jake
Something similar happened in South Dakota last year. National Right to life told the SD state congressmen not to pass a bill that would outlaw abortion. They said "It wasn't the right time".
I've had my doubts about the mainstream pro-life movement for some time. This confirms my opinion that they are just put in place to soak up and disperse pro-life outrage like a sponge, without the real intention of actually doing anything about abortion. No Senator or Representative, and no "pro-life" organization which does not support HR-552 is truly pro-life, just like I'm not "anti-rape" if I refuse to do anything if a woman is attacked in front of me.
HR 552
"HR".... as in "House Resolution"?
So let me get this straight.
This is a simply a non-binding resolution, not a proposed law.
Correct?
No, it is resoultion till approved by both hosues and signed by the President and then it becomes law.
The "pastor" Bob Celeste has been an apologist for Eric Rudolph, the man on the run from the feds for bombing abortion clinics and passers-by at the Atlanta Olympics.
Here is one such remark made here on FR.
pray for Eric Rudolph, for not long ago I had counseled that he should turn himself in, since I felt that with a Christian in the oval office and a Christian as US Attorney General, he would get a fair trial. Now I'm not so sure, so pray that the Lord lead Eric to safety and keep him safe an out of the hands of the government till he can get a fair trial. And if that trial must wait till his day in court before the Lord, so be it

We will continue to publish everything we can on HR-552, now it is up to our readers and Freepers to bring it to their churches and friends, to fast and pray. Cause it don't look like the right to life paid groups are going to raise a finger.
That makes a lot of sense. It would discredit the pro-life groups. Such associations are dangerous.
Actually, my problem with it is that it explicitly states that they are applying the resolution under the Fourteenth Amendment, which guarantees and defines US citizenship. While I am all for protecting the unborn, I'm afraid this will end up conferring citizenship on unborn children of illegals. This bill could cost the US gov't billions of dollars, as the unborn of illegal immigrants would now be citizens eligible for medicaid.
As controlling illegal immigration is a very hot topic right now, I'm sure that's why many "pro-life" politicians have not signed off on it yet.
Here is some more info on "Bob Celeste."
But, we will still contnue to support HR-552, for it does indeed end aboriton.
And I was curious.
What is YOUR view on Eric Rudolph?
And what about those "Christian patriots" who support him?
Go to www.thomas.loc.gov and look it up and read it. I think you'll be able to answer your question
I will visit there site and read about them.
Thanks,
Jake
Thanks.
And how about a response to post 16?
