Wolfson's report states that in the four years after her collapse, Michael "had insistently held to the premise that Theresa could recover and the evidence is incontrovertible that he gave his heart and soul to her treatment and care . . . In late autumn of 1990, following months of therapy and testing and formal diagnoses of persistent vegetative state with no evidence of improvement, Michael took Theresa to California, where she received an experimental thalamic stimulator implant in her brain. Michael remained in California caring for Theresa during a period of several months."
Says Wolfson now: "Michael was adoring of her. One nursing home complained he was hostile and abusive of the staff in championing her care. She was immaculately kept. In 13 years, she never had one bedsore."
This made be a strange way of stating it, but I think of my plants. I have a knack for killing them. Once the plant is dead I can feed it all I want, but the plant isn't going to come back. If Terri was really no longer there, then not being on any constant life giving measures (such as a breathing machine, etc.) her body should have given out long ago. JMHO.

Hopefully help will arrive on March 18 or sooner. She's waited long enough for her wishes to be carried out, or for some evidence to come up to show those aren't her wishes.

Well, the poor bastards live in this house that Terri bought because Michael said in the malpractice trial in 1992 " I believe in the vows I took with my wife, through sickness, in health, for richer or poor. I married my wife because I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I'm going to do that."

Since he didn't move into a gated community before this started, I don't think he could move into one now. His presence would almost certainly be seen as attracting the "wrong" sort of attention.
Besides, what's wrong with giving Michael and Greer a few good ideas. Either one of them could switch sides to the parents, turn on Felos, and if they played their cards right end up relatively unscathed. But their chances of getting away with their past crimes will be better if Terri lives than if she dies.
I finally found out why the pro-death crowd is fighting so hard against Terri. This DISGUSTING quote from a poster on another board:
"This isn't about saving Terri or doing what is best for her. This is attempting a leglislative/judicial establishment and precedent so that you can go back to the abortion clinics and say "the life of the defenseless has been ruled precious! Now it's time to defend the other defenseless ones!"
I'm disgusted that these groups have taken the life of Terri hostage to their own cause."

A Terri supporter has been in contact with Jim Caveziel who portrayed Jesus in The Passion. At this point, it is simply an announcement that Mr. Caveziel would like to get involved. Further discussions with the family will follow.
I certainly hope no one would consider being hurtful to two small children who have nothing to do with this situation.
I do not deny this is perhaps one of the hardest situations one is presented in one's life time.
Terri appeared to be a vibrant and smart gal, and that has not been challenged.
She has been on a feeding tube for over 15 years. It is a long time and I have no doubt I would be entertaining all the ideas that have confronted the family and Terri's supporters.
If you believe in life than you cannot see any other resolution to this case. I beg to differ.
Those who wish to keep the feeding tube in says physical therapy might help.
If this is the case why didn't the courts issue that as a requirement years ago. It is unforgivable that anyone missed this.
Here are my concerns and why I am feeling the way that I do.
I cannot put myself in her shoes, the family or the husband. I can say is this a quality of life that she would wish upon her family. Her parents are retirement age. They have gone bankrupt to pursue this. They are older. Should they win then who becomes the guardian? Oh, I know the state will, and the state will foot the bill.
Another slippery slope issue, she finds herself with the need for a kidney. Why wouldn't she eligible for the kidney? One needs only be in perfect health to receive a kidney or any other organ. She is diagnosed with cancer -- harsh as this might sound -- do we give treatment and if so where does it end.
Now the say there is abuse and ask for 60 days. Why the hell did this not get reported long ago? Was it a ploy to get the extension? It is disturbing.
I feel some anger towards the justice system allowing this to go on, year after year.
I will repeat I am pro life and I may be the only one to say this and I stand by my thoughts.
My prayers for all.
The allegations have been raised long ago. It would appear, given officials' refusal to either respond to the charges or prove them groundless, that the charges make the officials uncomfortable. It's hard to say why, but speculations abound regarding possible reasons.
What has changed is that enough people know about what's going on that officials can no longer feign ignorance. They probably figured before that they could be rid of the Terri-Albatross by killing it. bit it's becoming clear that won't work. So now they feel pressure to actually do their jobs.
