I think we'd both be pleasantly suprised by how many people really came down on the side of equality and justice.
I won't bet on being "pleasantly surprised". We would be sickened from being ruled over by another "President Clinton". It is not worth the risk. Besides, I'm right about this. Twenty percent or more voters will never vote for a woman, which is a lock for Hillary if the GOP nominates a woman. And this is unfortunately real, we cannot know what is the number of misguided voters who will not vote for a black candidate, but they are out there (even 2 or 3% is hurts the GOP nominee). Hillary would beat Condi in the general election. That's the deal, sadly, despite Dr. Rice's brilliance.

Besides, I'm right about this. No, you aren't. But thanks again for playing.

I respectfully disagree. Who else do we have that could be Hillary? Don't underestimate the power of them "female president" aspect.
If we neutralized that, we'd have a much better chance. I think we run a bigger risk by running a no-name, stuffy old republican who doesn't connect with the people.
I think she could beat Hill. Imagine the Dems trying to trash the character of the potential first black female president. They'd be dead in the water.
