"Some People Push Back" On the Justice of Roosting Chickens written by Ward Churchill 9-11-2001

They did not license themselves to "target innocent civilians."

There is simply no argument to be made that the Pentagon personnel killed on September 11 fill that bill. The building and those inside comprised military targets, pure and simple. As to those in the World Trade Center . . . Well, really. Let's get a grip here, shall we? True enough, they were civilians of a sort. But innocent? Gimme a break. They formed a technocratic corps at the very heart of America's global financial empire – the "mighty engine of profit" to which the military dimension of U.S. policy has always been enslaved – and they did so both willingly and knowingly. Recourse to "ignorance" – a derivative, after all, of the word "ignore" – counts as less than an excuse among this relatively well-educated elite. To the extent that any of them were unaware of the costs and consequences to others of what they were involved in – and in many cases excelling at – it was because of their absolute refusal to see. More likely, it was because they were too busy braying, incessantly and self-importantly, into their cell phones, arranging power lunches and stock transactions, each of which translated, conveniently out of sight, mind and smelling distance, into the starved and rotting flesh of infants. If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I'd really be interested in hearing about it.

The men who flew the missions against the WTC and Pentagon were not "cowards."

If the controversial Colorado University "Professor" Ward Churchill claims to have Native American ancestry (which appears to be false) and included that on his state application, could he not be fired? It is my understanding that according to regulations in a majority of gingival states, one must be at least 1/8 (one-eighth) blood of the nationality-race that one claims to be of, in order to state or report that as a fact.

It is my experience, when I attended colleges and universities, with leftist extremist professors spouting free speech; my grades suffered severely when I expressed views and opinions contrary to theirs. To allow this trend in classes, often times required for a degree, that are supposed to be enlightening the student to civil liberties, is contrary to the definition of the word "education" and to me always bordered on indoctrination. Yes, individuals have the right to free speech, but I do not think our children need to be forced into the beliefs and regurgitation of extremist professors from either side of political spectrum. I do not want to help pay for “professors” that promote anarchism as part of their propaganda under the guise of free speech.

I have protested this kind of "education in Illinois, Tennessee, and Ohio. I am now writing to protest the use of Federal funding of my tax dollars of these types "professors" anywhere in America.

Not only should these individuals be shunned for their abuse of their position in society, but the private organizations that harbor and protect them should not only be shunned, but boycotted as well. Government officials that cannot tell the difference between political correctness gone afoul and blatant ethical wrongdoing should be removed from office for incompetence for failing to protect its citizens.

Express your views by contacting your State and U.S. Government Representatives and Governors, your College and University Boards, and your local and national news media.

And it is his lies and fabricated research that will bring him down, not his '60 commie radical speech.

"bordered on indoctrination" -- it is indoctrination.

You sign up today, post three threads, and don't really have much to say about any of them?
This gets my attention as recently we've had trolls sign up and 'shotgun post' across several threads in hopes of tossing as much stuff out tehre as possible, and also hoping to not get caught by having a 'low number of posts'.
I call these mass volume trolls.

They tend to post threads and not comment on them, and when they do post inside a thread, it isn't theirs and they hop from one thread to another and never respond to anyone posting to them.

So naturally, I'm suspicious.

The sooner the better. Churchill belongs in the nut house.
This guy thinks that thousands of businesses, just because they all work out of the same building are all interconnected for a common goal? LMAO!
I'm sure the secretary who dragged her butt into the office day after day for 10 years to listen to the same old B.S. and sharpen pencils really thought she was part of a global conspiracy.

The guy is a lunatic, and shouldn't be anywhere near students.
He isn't the only one in that position unfortunately. Our education system needs a house-cleaning

I assume the part written at the top was written by Ward Churchill and the part below are your comments? It is kind of confusing because you listed yourself as the author. I looked at the link and cannot find the exact text quoted. Let us know what you think of this Ward Churchill.

Understood, just trying to explain my reasons for being suspicious, that's all.
Been pretty hopping lately around these parts.

From what I've read about Ward Churchill, he isn't even 1/64th part Indian. He is fully 100% made up from European ancestry.
Somewhere at FR is a post with this info.

It's a joke post man. It is saying that Churchill is about as real an indian as a 1/64th scale tuck is a real truck.
It was ment to be funny.

----- I think he said that one of his great, great, great, great grandfathers had a second marriage to an American Indian. Yeh1?

It doesn't matter, he has that Indian community out there tied around his little finger.

I would not bet on it. The tribe he claims ancestry to does not recognize him as part of that tribe.

Good. We'll see how this goes in the next weeks. Personally, I hope Professor Loon stays in the public eye and continues inadvertently showing most Americans what they need to know -- that our universities are ill with outright anti-American venom.

I thought it was bad back in the mid-'60's when I went to college. It's much, much worse now.
