Maybe it's just me, but change the color to red, add some tanks and it looks like May Day at the Kremlin.

What is all this for? The orange things? I don't get it... are there 1,300 of them? Is it supposed to signify something?

I mean if he had some wonderful VISION of something on a scale this large it would be one thing...
But he works are just BIG THINGS... nothing great just something big in scope. One gate like this is hardly visionary or exceptional so put 23 miles of them... it is so like regulare light posts- 23 miles of which are more beautiful in some places...
It is like a LARGE LARGE crayon drawing vs a large large michaelangelo painting. I just look at it and go "...Eh"
Where is a Michaelangelo making something this large?

Cristophe is EVIL!!!
I happen to miss "Krystof," who used to have his "Poliscar" on a vacant lot in Alphabet City back in the day.

Looks like the artist was inspired by a recent trip to a Tibetan temple.

I'm with you. I just don't get it. Maybe you have to "be there."
I want to know where all the liberals are screaming that this Christoph fella could have fed a lot of starving children with his $21 million. He must not be a conservative. And what about PETA?? This has GOT to have a negative effect on this squirrels.

Your photographs are great..I know lots of bright color on a grey Feb day might be a nice change..but I fear my appreciation of this as art is just not there.

I liked the photos of the Gates but I am not from New York and do not understand what the Gates stand for? Could you please state what the Gates mean? Thanks.

"allow me to be the first- this is Stupid"..... I SECOND that, what a waste of money, and they call this art????These people could have made a big difference by spending the millions on some type of aid .

I'm so inspired. < / sarcasm >
Got to wonder how much NEA and Corporate money Cristo scammed for this latest joke.
He's been pulling this for what --- 30 years now?
