On second thought (and a clear head) this morning, I even thought that my post was a little harsh. It also seemed oddly unrelated to the topic this guy claims - a mass suicide at Gitmo. So, I checked it out and here's the real deal:

"Police arrested an Arab expatriate who burned his daughters and granddaughters with acid in Al-Suwaidi district in the southern part of Riyadh, Al-Watan Arabic daily reported yesterday…The doctors treating the injured girls in Riyadh Medical Complex, including Dr. Mustafa Hamdan and Dr. Farouq Dassouqi, confirmed that the condition of the girls is stable. However, one of them who is nine months pregnant, is still in the intensive care unit as she is suffering from deep burns that may require surgery…Tariq Al-Yusuf, the husband of one of the victims, said that he had married only ten days ago. He allowed his wife to visit her family on the first day of the Eid feast to greet them and attend dinner after her father invited her. He said he knew beforehand his father-in-law’s nature, as he blackmailed him and his wife and interfered in his personal affairs several times. This forced him to change his home telephone number. “But it never occurred to me that he would carry out such a crime in this barbaric manner against his daughters whatever the excuses,” Al-Yusuf said…The brother of the victims, only identified as A.M., said that his father used to maltreat him and his sisters continually. He said his father was the cause for his sisters’ divorce from their husbands. He said this forced him to leave home and live elsewhere with one of his sisters. A.M. said he came to know about the incident while visiting one of his friends. Al-Watan had earlier reported that an Arab expatriate poured acid on three of his daughters, two granddaughters and the mother-in-law of one of his daughters after confining them in one of the rooms in his house."

Interested readers (that is, anyone caring enough to read factual information) might want to know that the thread I reponded to was a story from the 'Arab News' about a man that poured acid over his daughters (including one who was pregnant) and his grand-daughters.
Informed and interested readers are probably also aware that acid attacks against women by Islamic men are quite common on their home turf. Of course, acid being flung into the face is only one of many kinds of lethal assaults that women who are below the level of cattle in these countries must endure. The women and children in this story were lucky - they're still alive.
Since I have had to bring the actual facts about your 'reporting' forward, your readers should be aware of the level of integrity you employ in your own acid attacks. Given the low standards you apparently possess, you might want to look for higher employment at CBS or CNN. I understand there are vacancies at the moment for people with advanced lying skills.

What I find the funniest is the fact that these idiots have no original ideas of their own, so the best they can do is reprint what we write and then ignorantly refer to us as Nazis, homophobes, baby-killers and religious zealots. It really concerns me that people like these are allowed to vote, drive automobiles and reproduce.
Did this guy quote you guys correctly and within the context of your remarks? In my case, he attributed my remarks to an entirely different topic on a different thread and, of course, gave nothing of the actual story or its underlying elements. In short, a sloppy hit and run. You might want to check out your posts versus his spin...

A steady diet of Revisionism and Historicism have done their work. Like the alien appeasing scientist in the old Howard Hawks movie 'The Thing' the malignant nature of another being is lost on them through the total eclipse of reason by their demented ideology. If you ask me, Lenin was wrong - the opiate of the masses is the dream of social and economic equality.
The idea that their thinking, ideals and goals might be suspect never enters into their equation. Their current failure is the solely the fault of those who criticize their views and resist their drive for power. You are either in their camp or against them. All of the faceless lumpenproles now voting for a secure America and against a socialist future don't have a mind and must be led about by the nose.
As a result, the only thing left for them to do is sneak about, skulk, slither, lurk, conive, twist, lie, deceive, prevaricate and generally act like arrogant asses. Actually weighing the merits of their failed ideology requires honesty and self-reflection and that, apparently, is not covered at their cell group's weekly political indoctrination sessions.

He's got his reasoning backwards, starting at the conclusion based on the Third Tenet of Liberal, totally ignoring the major fact of the case, that the Iranian regime is a a corrupt, fanatic, unfree country that poses both a security threat to its workers and carries with it the risk of nationalization by fatwa, the next time Tony Blair does something they don't like.
He is being particularly dishonest in putting his own comments before what he is commenting on. The honest thing to do is state the facts and then give your opinion. But Liberals will act like that; let's be tolerant. They're only following their religion.
