Berlin-AP, Feb. 9, 2005 9:48 AM) _ After a year-long struggle, a Berlin bar will finally get the chance to let people sing in the nude.
On Saturday night, the Berlin Station Cafe is expected to hold its controversial "Naked Karaoke" event.
Co-owner Marty St. Pierre put up a fake sign advertising the event as a joke more than a year ago. But the bar's neighbors complained and St. Pierre was told he could face fines or arrest if he held the naked musical performance without a permit.
An attorney for the bar sued the town in March, claimed that the ordinance was illegal. The owners won their lawsuit.
St. Pierre said 120 people have signed up for Naked Karaoke on Saturday night, but he is unsure of how many people will actually show up and bare all.

Any performers in the group?

Hmmm... Sounds eerily reminiscent of the mid-late 20's in Germany. Sounds like the early 2000's here.

I don't know what would be worse.
Hearing people sing who shouldn't be singing.
Or seeing people naked who shouldn't be naked.
Sounds like a lose/lose situation there.

This event proves that some people have no sense of shame in exposing all of their shortcomings.

I agree, but it's kinda like watching a car crash unfold. You just have to watch.
BTW, I will NOT be attending in any way shape or form.

I'll have you know that I once sang Karaoke in a Fremont, CA bowling alley lounge
(I slayed em!). That's "putting yourself out there."
But this is really, really putting yourself out there.

My neighbor loves to sing Elvis karaoke songs.
He can't sing.
He's around 325 pounds.
