1-The media did not lie. They simply picked up the misleading headline posted by ADF and did not bother to do fact checking before publishing the headline.In effect, the ADF lied. Not the media. AND I used to support the ADF, By the way.
2-Hannity's program is a circus a step above Springer. I was at The Flint Center. Unless you've experienced his program, don't reply to this one. And yes, he bullied people. In fact, Williams said at that program that saying the Declaration was banned was a bit of a stretch and that his kids had in fact read it. As soon as he said that, the lawyer tool over and he was never allowed to speak again!
3- We received over 3000 threatening emails and calls and security had to be increased at the school. Do you not find that alone a bit disruptive of your routine? Would you feel safe sending YOUR kids to school when you know some wacko who believed the ADF line could be coming to kill people there? It was and continues to be disruptive.
4- I explained already why the teacher was "disciplined" as you keep saying, and no, we don't want you to feel sorry for us. Just to know the truth and to not jump to the wrong conclusion that because we are in California we're all heathens and tree-hugging liberals. Use your brains to think a bit deeper about this and figure out how we need to work cooperatively to make this country work without branding people this or that or automatically thinking that we all fit neatly on the same peg.

I went to Cupertino schools, and I taught in Santa Clara Valley schools. I KNOW first-hand what kind of garbage is taught there.

According to the people who run California schools, teaching meditation, forcing children to go on "Jihad" and recite muslim prayers, "gender redefinition" and "situational ethics" are all fine, but pointing out that God IS part of the founding documents, regardless of what the ACLU says is wrong.

I have relatives in this school, and judging from the propaganda they spout on a regular basis, I believe the teacher in this case.
