However some sins can be fun!
This approach towards sin is very utilitarian in its form and frustrating to no end. In one of my ethics classes back in college, my professor told us a story of this dog his neighbor owned and it would love to lick anti-freeze...whenever it dripped from the car or if he found it in the garage somewhere. This anecdote concluded with his assertion that a person cannot with any legitimacy claim that just because something is pleasurable that it is good to do. Sure, the dog got a kick out of the anti-freeze, but the stuff would kill him if his owner hadn't kept a close eye and kept pulling him away.
Would someone say God is a party pooper for not letting us shoot ourselves in the foot, no matter how fun we may think it is?

I think Moses'law, make that God's law, is good. It defines sin for us. Thank God for providing the law...If it were up to the liberals we'd all be dead by now!
