"I can assure you that the Werewolf organization was more myth than reality..."

Then perhaps I should not bring up the WW I Vampire organization? Hm... too much of a reach?

Seriously, thank you for your input. Please correct me if you think I might be wrong on any of this:

I had read that they were blaming every accidental fire on the werewolves, even though the werewolf movement practically vanished after the occupation. But there were reportedly still a few snipers who put sand in gas tanks [sugar was low in supply] and who also would decapitate occupiers with wires placed across roads.

Despite the terrible conditions after WWII, the werewolf movement was extremely unpopular. Nonetheless, our media at home was in a panic that German insurgency would catch hold. How much the werewolf movement was involved in the media panic, I don't know for certain.

In the end, neo-nazis did begin to infiltrate here, the other side of the world. Skinheads also found a large following in Sweden.

That would mean, even if werewolves were a complete myth, according to our new definitions, we are still in a quagmire with neo-nazi and skinhead sleeper cells, which means we cannot declare any kind of WWII victory yet. How many thousands have the skinheads and neo-nazis killed over the years? I haven't found the numbers yet.

oh sure there was a little sabotage here and there after WW II and the werewolf myth/legend came in handy to blame all sabotage happening on.
