Toadyism? I don't know. I figure you're lying anyway by even being there if you're conservative. But I've never yet taken a liberal position on any of my posts. I am not a Republican, I am an independent conservative with libertarian leanings, so I don't mind bad-mouthing the Republican party or Bush, occasionally. It's what you bad-mouth them about that counts.
Nobody at DU understands irony, as far as I can tell, although they're pretty good at sarcasm.
Yes, post count really does matter. You have a lot more latitude after 1000 posts.

A toady is someone who curries favor by (false) flattery. If you are admittedly there under false pretenses, and you never take liberal positions, what are you doing there?
