Oh my - someone who actually makes sense. I would be so irritated if, upon meeting someone, they demanded to know how I voted. I would tell them (proudly, of course) that I voted for President Bush, but it just seems so lame to demand to know that right off the bad. Weirdo.

PJ--Just because the Senator started belly-laughing for hours in his office does not mean it was because of the Dummie Funnies.

The info I have is that it WAS the DUFUs. Therefore, I hereby forbid any criticism of Senator Obama in the future on the DUFUs even if he does deserve it. If you must criticize the Senator, then do it on another thread. Despite my disagreements with the Senator on politics he does have EXCELLENT taste in reading material. And, yes, flattery does get you everywhere with your humble correspondent, even if you are a Democrat.

I too am about to visit family for the first time in over a decade. I am not sure I will be able to hold my tongue. My mother is becoming more christian fundamentalist by the day. She is totally brainwashed. My wife will probably have to restrain me when the rest of the repugs in my family get in the same room with me. I have avoided them for decades.

I recently attended a rally at our state capitol to protest the stolen gubernatorial election (see: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1318757/posts)

There was a contingent of libs there to counter-protest that was mainly made up of two groups - paid union thugs, and pimply-faced college "students" from nearby Evergreen (Socialist) State College.

We had several episodes of confrontations between the libs and our people, but guess who they chose to argue with - elder folks! They taunted and chastised a group of NUNS! They yelled and screamed at several old ladies.

I had the singular fortune to witness one of these confrontations and shame the punks with a "Why don't you pick on someone your own size - like me?" taunt. Of course, I had no takers....

Income Under $ 15000, Bush 36%; Kerry 63%. (The Poor)

Income $ 15000-29,999, Bush 42%; Kerry 57%. (Lowest Middle Class income)

Income $ 30,000-49,999, Bush 49%, Kerry 50% (Low Middle class income).

Income $ 50,000-$74,999, Bush 56%, Kerry 43% (Medium Middle class income).

Income $ 75,000- $ 99,999, Bush 55%, Kerry 45% (High Middle class Income).

Income $ 100,000- $ 149,999, Bush 57%, Kerry 42% (Higher Middle class income).

Income $ 150,000- $ 199,999, Bush 58%, Kerry 42% (Highest Middle class Income).
