The hunt for WMD's in Iraq is finally over, and basically we didn't find anything. Yes, the Poles found a bunch of old binary shells filled with Sarin, but I can't believe that was all that Saddam had. Saddam was a ruthless, paranoid bastard who didn't make threats he couldn't back up. Even our buddy the Swedish inspector Hans Blix wrote a memo just before the start of the war about the status of 10,000 liters of anthrax.

Nancy Pelosi, the ranking communist from Northern California quipped "(Bush) needs to explain to the American people why he was so wrong, for so long, about the reasons for war." I don't believe that it that Bush was wrong about the WMD's, however I think he was wrong about where we would find them. Israeli intelligence gave information to the US about the movement of convoys from Iraq through Syria that ended up in the Bekka Valley in Lebannon. Powell and others have suggested this may be the case, but nothing has been heard about it for several months.

The wait is over-the folks looking for WMD's in Iraq have come up with goose eggs. But, does this mean that Saddam got rid of his banned weapons, or did he pull another fast one on us and hide them in Lebannon?

Why were we not monitoring the roads and borders with our satellites?
We had the information as to where many of these things were - why where these sites not watched from the skies?
Oil for Food? Incompetance at the CIA?

If Saddam's followers don't have Geneva Convention rights, neither does Saddam.

Time to give him a bit of truth serum and get to the bottom of this issue.
