<<If you read the debates in DU at the time CBS aired the piece you will find that there were quite a few DUers that did not believe the documents were authentic...
That was us LOUSY FREEPER TROLLS
Charles, those are great.
Happy, you got to see these.
Man, I feel so guilty!!! I am trying to feel sad, but that was the greatest piece of gallows humor I have read in quite some time.
WOW!! I think you're ready for some big time TROLLING at DU
Kephra had just changed his icon from the Isis eye to a Devil's face, that day I think. Spooky.

Same here.
Here's a caveat: If Khephra is indeed dead, then I hope that he rests in peace. Best wishes to his family and friends.
However, this is definitely pegging my "weird-o-meter" for reasons already discussed. People do strange things in grief though.
Apparently he had a 'bad back' and a 'bad knee'.
Your DUmmieFUnnies threads are among the funniest on FR. Please put me on your ping list.
If I understand it correctly, he literally fell over dead in front of his computer (probably a heart attack or stroke or something along those lines) while on DU. His mother knew how big he was there and used his account to post the messages alerting them of his death.
At least he died happy; it's obvious he loved the DU community. And he was much loved by them.
Politics aside, it's very sad. My condolences to everyone over there.
LOL!
No, it's for real. William Pitt knew both Khephra and his mother, and called her for confirmation.
As for the "Kephra's Mom" thing, see my post just above. I believe he was on DU when he died, so all mom had to do was sit down, hit the "new thread" button and start typing.
From what I can tell, Kephra was sort of a kattracks/JohnHuang2 type, posting tons and tons of news articles, for which the DUers were very grateful. He was a big name over there.
Yeah they do do strange things in grief. I just read the whole post. One DUer said he/she had spoken to the mother on the phone, and guided her through reading the posts of condolences.
This was the same day........in between talking to the sheriff and such things. Just seems a bizarre chain of events. If it's true, God Speed to him.
After reading all the posts, it does appear you are right. Not what I would do, but different people do different things I suppose.
Must have been his time, for whatever reason. Not are place to question that part.
Thanks for checking it out, strange life he must have led. Odd community.
Yeah....I'd hate to see Howlin's post count. Yikes!
LOL... so if they'd said that Santa Claus was applying pressure to sugar-coat Bush's performance evaluation, and that he was grounded for his failure to bake a sufficiently tasty coconut cake, it would still be "impossible to determine they were phony" because they're multi-generation copies. *Sigh*
In that case, it's impossible to prove this isn't a genuine Navy document:
