What will be the procedure if someone contests the certification? I have heard there will be an hour of debate then a vote to accept the certification?

Two hours of debate in each house. Then each house votes. Both must uphold the challenge to disqualify Ohio's electors. If even one house rejects the challenge, the votes are counted.

procedure

At least one Congressperson and one Senator must object to the electors of at least one state for there to be a debate.

The House and Senate would then presumably separate to their chambers and have a one hour debate. Then they would vote the objection to the electors in question up or down. If both houses agreed with the objection then the electoral votes of that state would not be recognized.

There is no well-defined procedure if that happens (which it never has before and won't today).

There is only one ambiguity in the process I see and if I told you about I would have to kill you since the Dummies haven't figured it out yet. :-)
