Defeated Libs Urge Followers to 'Buy Blue'
John Kerry's presidential campaign crashed and burned more than two months ago, but some of his supporters are still looking for ways to defeat conservatives.
The web site BuyBlue.org is urging members to patronize specific retailers who have contributed to Democrats, saying that "Buying Blue" is even more powerful than "Voting Blue."
The mission at BuyBlue, which began as a direct result of Kerry's defeat, is to support all businesses that share the same "progressive" ideas as the Democratic Party. The web site is also trying to prevent liberals from "unknowingly helping to dump millions of dollars into the conservative war chest" by publicizing the contributions of politically active companies.
Boasts BuyBlue.org: "Our collective buying power WILL make a difference, and we WILL be heard."
How many times am I going to hear about this website?
Hmmm. You must've missed the other several dozen times it's been posted here.
I boycott boycotts...
ping!!!
Well, fwiw, I did too. This is the first I've seen of it.
They took the list down becuse the information in it was false and companies were calling them on it. It's a bunk site.
Just DANG. Their list is "down."
I'll continue to buy the best product, at the best price, American made when possible.
Clean up on aisle 5
One of the comments on their site:
"Please feel free to name all the companies that do support the far left agenda. It will be an excellent guide as to where not to shop."
