Hello up there. I am rather new here (Oct-04) and this entire topic remains somewhat Greek to me.

The term mentioned (btt -btttt, etc) I had not even heard of until reading this posting, thus are you of the opinion it is far better not to use it in FR? We have relatives/friends in P.Q., N.S., N.B.,P.E.I. While those in Ontario (Toronto) moved 'Down East' :)
