I remember Hands Across America well. It was in Spring 1986. I was in the Fourth Grade and we all went into the school yard to join hands. At the time, I thought it was SOOOOOOO GAAAYYYY!!!

Fourth grade!!!! Now I feel old. I was 17 when it happened. Now I know I drank too much as a teenager to remember what it was all about.
