I doubt they stole it any more than we stole Florida (Sorry...I just refuse to act like a rat). Just like Florida, it was a painfully close loss after lots of back and forth bickering over counting ballots.
Personally, I'll take our win in Florida and be happy.

They stole this election the same way they tried to steal Florida in 2000, by having a large Democrat county report last, finding just enough ballots (each voted valid by a 2-1 party line vote of the county board of elections) at the last moment to overturn the result of the election. This is obvious prima facie election fraud that is just crying out for prosecution. How blatant do they have to be?

I don't believe they stole..
You are both correct--and incorrect.
Let me explain.
If by steal you mean an organized, orchestrated, centralized plan to steal then I agree that Washington's race was not stolen.
The problem is that the Democrats who run the state refused to enforce their own registration and election laws in several areas (see my previous post for a couple of examples) and this had the effect of helping the Democratic candidate.
So while no election official may be proved guilty of fraud (who knows, maybe some will, but I don't know of any evidence) nonetheless the "official" election results are incorrect to any objective observer of Washington State Law.

Ballots were permanently altered with felt pen, so that the voter's original markings could not be determined. Votes were "found" nine times in one county. White Out, scratched off, revealed clear overvotes that had been counted for Gregoire. The 2-1 Democrat-dominated canvassing board in King County was not even-handed in their standards for counting disputed ballots. Military voters didn't receive their ballots until the day after the election.
They stole it. They simply stole it. This is not a time to let it go - it's a time to stand and fight.
