My ultra-liberal sister-in-law, rather than give me something for Christmas, gave a donation to her church for me - I'm not sure what the difference was between her regular donations and one "for me" but that was my present... nothing. Anyway, she knows that I am conservative so had to be mean to me for Christmas. This just after telling me all about how Christmas is about showing love for one another. Unless the other is conservative, I guess...

Does Berkeley Breathed hang around here looking for inspiration? ...Don't know, but I cut my political teeth on his comics in the 80's. Miss bloom county quite a bit. Calvin & Hobbs as well. Watch second hand lions one of these times. In addition to being a great movie, Breathed's work is unmistakable.
