Sorry to burst your bubble, PJ-Comix. DUFUS was funny for a while, but now it just seems repetitive and old. By the time your book gets published, if it ever does, this stuff will be way out of date. No way is anyone paying $$ to buy a book of hysterical, outdated rantings when they can find it all for free on the internet.

510+ pingees love ya and appreciate the DUFUS, not to mention the other FReepers not on the ping list who enjoy and look forward to each edition. Thanks again, PJ!

Sorry to burst your bubble but the DUFUs are more popular than ever judging by the # of views for each edition which has increased dramatically. Also by your reasoning, Ted White's Making of a President (1960) book should have been a flop because by the time it was published that election was already over for months. The fact is it was a best seller back then and is STILL selling today. I plan to ADD stuff to a DUFU book to put it in historical context. Also I plan revolutionary new uses of the CD-ROM (or DVD) to supplement the book. Such additons will have ALL NEW material. So while folks can get the DUFUs for free on the Web, the book will have TONS of additional material like color comix and maybe even performance skits on the DVD.
