That's they way I look at it. Two final words of advice, don't post of topics you get really hot about. The first time I registered I got kicked off at about 300 posting on the Iraq war. So I avoid this topic, as I cannot bring myself to restrain myself when posting to these people.
Second, it doesn't hurt if you can find something to agree with them about. Also, when you are disagreeing with them, you might identify with them, like "we liberals", or "we Democrats". I guess it's a lie, and I feel a little guilty about it. But then I'm pretending to be a DUmmie anyway, so I have to have some camouflage.

With you on that, deep cover for the better good of the general American population.
It's funny, because we all have liberal (ultra liberal?) friends, coworkers and family and if you stay away from certain topics, you can make it through some level of conversation. It is hard in today's environment, but you can get through to most of them at most levels. But being on DU and trying it out, this will be an interesting challenge/project.
You're serious, they ban folks for disagreeing too strongly? I mean trolls get ZOTted here, but I don't think they get 'thrown off' for disagreeing too strongly, do they? I've been on the site for about 9 months, a member for 3 of those.
I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
