Are you a Political Junkie????

Posted on 12/23/2004 9:07:27 AM PST by msolo

If so you will love the group I am a member of called, USASIM. It is a political simulation that allows you to play the part of a Seantor and even run for President. Se below for the description, but if interested, please go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/USASim/ Also, tell them that Marc Soloweszyk referred you, so that you can join quickly. If you have any questions please email me at richgoldus@yahoo.com

USASim is an online community engaged in the simulation of the three branches of the United States Federal Government - Legislative, Executive and Judicial. Participation is free and open to everyone.

Members may choose to role-play in any one of the three branches as Senators, Representatives, Supreme Court Justices, the President or members of the President's Cabinet. USASim hopes to eventually add a fourth component soon - the White House Press Corps, complete with Press Secretary, reporters and editors.

You don't have to be experienced in politics or government to participate - just be willing to put in a little spare time. As a Senator or Representative, you have exciting opportunities to engage in debate and to write bills and legislation important to the people and the state you represent as well as the SIM nation as a whole.

You will have opportunities to campaign and run for leadership positions such as Majority and Minority Leaders, Caucus leaders, or Committee Chairs - anything that is a component of the real Federal Government. You may present your case for and against bills and legislation in the Senate Chamber and engage in Committees and think tanks that study and recommend ways to make USASim better and more enjoyable to all its members.

Don't know about jumping right in? Consider being a citizen-observer for a few weeks before you decide to immigrate. USASim members are friendly and promote mutual respect for ideas and political ideologies that operate our Federal Government, as well as the beliefs and values of all citizens of the United States, both SIM and real.

I want to be a tinfoil hat wearing opposition website that spreads lame-a$$ rumors and gives money to fraudsters for fictitious recounts...

Well the lame ass rumors are already there. We have a "SIM FOX NEWS", which is more like CBS. It was started by this so called "moderate" republican, who is really a liberal.
