Democrat Underground: Do they support the troops?

Du is the worst form of cesspool. The people there are absolute maggots. They hate us, our president, and America. They are as vile as a person can get.

These idiots (DU) applaud people who go AWOL - like that candy ass living in Canada.

I've actually seen posts over in DUmmieland where they laugh at dead soldiers and say they deserved it.

It's really a shame that these Dems don't understand the most basic fact about those whom our military is fighting against: The main goal of this Jihad is to kill ALL Americans & Christians. They don't stop to ask what religion you are _or_ who you voted for before they slice off your head...

They make it sound as if the opposition to our military is unarmed, innocent and worthy of exaltation. I hope to God the war never comes to our streets because these mis-guided, unarmed people will be the first slaughtered by the terrorists...simply because they will honestly believe that their lives will be spared because they are "peace-loving" people.

I'm all for world peace but after thousands of years of human existence we should all understand by now that there is no way we can "all just get along". No matter how much we would like to live in harmony with all of our "brothers and sisters" of the world there will always be someone trying to take control, and there will always be those who will need to defend freedom (even if it is slightly watered down nowadays).

It's just plain stupid not to support our military. If it weren't for those who fight daily for our freedom whether behind a gun, or behind a desk they wouldn't have a country in which they were free to even THINK about whether or not our military and policies are right or wrong.

As far as comparing our military to Nazi Germany - that's just plain idiotic! Don't they see that their socialistic agenda of banning guns, government funded and controlled "free education", and "Political Correctness" exemplify some of the worst ideas of the 3rd Reich? Did these people even study History in school? [If they truly believe that the U.S. is acting in an appropriate or imperialistic way they would be better off comparing the U.S. to the Roman Empire - not saying I agree mind you - but it's a better historical analogy to go along with their POV, IMHO than comparing the U.S. to Nazis. The Islamic Jihadists on the other hand - now they are a better match with Hitler - the only difference between them and the Nazis is that they want Christians dead instead of Jewish people.]

Granted, I don't like some of the Draconian laws passed everyday by our government, but these Dems would allow our country to be taken over by a _true_ dictator if their agenda was put into place. If these Democrats/Greens/Liberals had their way we'd be completely owned by the state! They don't see the fact that no matter how "ethical" Ralph Nader, or other Liberal politicians they vote for are, their agenda - if put in place - would make it very easy for an unethical person (like Hitler) to come along and take control of everything and everyone.

I'll end this post by saying THANK YOU! to all of the fine men and women in the United States Military and to all those who in their own way fight for freedom everyday. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to do your jobs with people like this around... We all owe to you our LIVES and our freedom whether we are educated enough to understand that or not.

I'm in Ireland, and I support the US troops more than most Democrats in America.

Why? Because, I appreciate that Freedom comes at a price. And that price is the unfortunate loss of lives by military in the Western world who are prepared to unseat despots, and defend western values.

I live in a country with a small army, a navy that has maybe two ships, and an airforce that have kites! Ferfuxsake.

But I know if Ireland was being overtaken or over-run, the UK and America would be there to defend Ireland.
