All-knowing Freepers,
I have been given the challenge of identifying the four men on this old political (?) button. I have no information other than the picture. I assume I should know who these guys are but the faces are not ringing any bells.
Thanks in advance.

Never saw 'em before in my life but they look sort of honest, serious and the one on bottom looks vaguely familiar.

Well, if no freepers know them, at least we will get some humorous captions. :)

The guy on the right looks like David Byrne, formerly of Talking Heads.

Calhoun was always peeved. He impressed me as the 1830's[circa] of Cato the Elder.
Your link notes an Iowa location...ya think it might be something from there? Local guys? Would they have a button for local guys? I dunno.

According to my good friend who is a church history buff, these are Alexander Campbell (on the left), Thomas Campbell(bottom center), Walter Scott (top center) and Barton W. Stone (on the right).
These men are leaders of the "Restoration Movement" associated with the Churches of Christ and the Independent Christian churches.
