The nomination of Dr. Condoleeza Rice by President Bush for the position of Secretary of State has elicited the usual response of racist caricature.
Now available on important publications like the New York Times, liberal cartoonists go where photos cannot.

Thanks for this post. Why is it Liberal cartoonist, and liberal Media can make bigoted statements and get away with it? Being Liberal means never having to say you are sorry.

This rant carries a language warning for the squeamish.

This is powerful!
This man gets it - says it like it is loud & clear and he will be hard for the libs to attack.
Np equivocating here!
He should be running for office! But, as a writer - he may be reaching more people and his message is pure, unvarnished (especially in wordage) truth.
This is Pulitzer Prize material - (if the Pulitzer were ever given for the right reasons)

So the next time liberals attempt to tell us how to be tolerant, Im happy to know that in their eyes, as a black conservative, I am a nigger and Ive need to have my mind made right. Good thing for me they cant take me out back for a whuppin. I like this guy - good read so don't pass it up...

The author makes an excellent point on the liberal double standard when it comes to blacks.
But the author unintentionally makes the excellent point on the black double standard when it comes to the use of the "n" word.

Thank you, but everything I did was intentional.

Just put me in one of those housing projects where I belong. Encourage me to have sex and impregnate as many women as possible so the Democrats can assume the role of father and consider my seed their property. Produce more rap videos so people around the world can embrace black people as the thugs and whores the liberals consider us, while white Hollywood liberals can buy homes in Beverly Hills from the cash such trash brings in.Keep making those comics for the New York Times. Thats keeping it real, because thats what happens when we make massah mad.
Awesome, just awesome...

This rant carries a language warning for the squeamish. But entirely necessary for the piece...in my estimation as a writer. And language only a black man could use - that's what makes it so effective. (I imagine he will be inundated with hate mail addressed to another "Uncle Tom.")
It's language that breaks the PC barrier, to be sure...but PC is simply a smoke screen instituted to keep conservatives from calling a duck a duck.
'bout time we stopped kowtowing to the PC mantra,
Let's hear it now: quack quack quack...

Didn't sway it wasn't necessary, just thought some might be offended.
It is kind of like reading an Owen Parry novel, will shock you, but is an authentic view of language, prejudices and morals of the time.

Good writing. Hope the people who need to see it get to read it. Also, thanks for pointing me to a new source.

But the author unintentionally makes the excellent point on the black double standard when it comes to the use of the "n" word. I think he deliberately used the "n" word (see how we've been trained!) to nail his point to the wall.
This is a piece we should print and pin to our walls for periodic reread.
We should email him and his publication with congratulations and appreciation - to counteract the onslaught they will getting from the other side. They need to know they will be supported so's they wont back off of the same in the future.
to email Parks:
parks@therant.us, editor@therant.us
that'll give him backup with his editors...we don't want these voices (our voices) shut down.
