Maybe he/she/it is a politically ambidextrous dyslexic. I've heard drugs can do that.

"The only thing worse than being in the minority is being in the minority for the foreseeable future"

Hmmm -- sounds like white arrogance to me. This is standard LeftistThink -- I support minorities, I just don't want to be one (witness Seattle, SF, Portland and other "blue" areas that are lily-white).

"Maybe if the party doesn't change a thing, we'll hold on to all of those seats".

This DUmmy already forgot the main topic about the (hopefully) soon retiring disgruntled democrats. Robert Byrd comes to mind.

But yes, when you are headed towards a 3 foot diameter concrete pillar going 90 MPH in your Toyota Shrimp, close your eyes and hope for the best. Do NOT hit the brakes. Do NOT swerve! :-)

[Is V.I. Lenin available to run for the Senate?]

He's probably younger than Bob Byrd and Ernest Hollings. And can you imagiane Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein catfighting for his attentions on the Senate floor?

Anybody got a good lemonade recipe?

When life hands you lemonades, request tequila and salt, not Kool-aide, DUmmies.

The democrats need to dump the leadership of the DNC -- and start with fresh leadership who are willing to listen to grass root democrats.

They just don't get that it hasn't been about anybody but the elites since Kennedy or Truman.

Either that or just by-pass the DNC and form another more progressive PDNC -- progressive Democratic Committee.

Yeah, Terry McAuliffe brings Michael Moore into the fold and these twits think he's a centrist. DU melts your brain...

This enrages me -- these people don't get it, the death struggle we're in. Republican incumbents stay in office on their death beds to keep an (R) in office, and our people are tired of being in a minority???

Yeah, people like Pete Fitzgerald. His funeral sure was nice.</sarcasm>

Bob Graham lost a seat in Florida, even Breaux in La., others -- don't they see that they endanger the country by giving the Republican Right absolute power?

But isn't Breaux one of those evil centrists they were all railing against? I'm confused...

It seems pretty presumptuous to claim that a significant number of Democratic Senators and Congressmen are poised to leave because they hate so much being the minority. What evidence is there to suggest that this attitude exists?

Evidence the Dems can't handle any lessening of their power is still evident as DU remains in suicide watch mode 14 days after the election. Look in the mirror.

I would think that most of them would see this as the worst possible time to exit.

Yeah, you would think that, because you think they're in it for the little guy, when they're really in it for power. They don't care about your lily white butt, your mental state, your kid's future or anything except their own lily white butts and the power and perks they can gain.

Maybe if the party doesn't change a thing, we'll hold on to all of those seats.

Democrat sweep in '06...in the Senate on Bizarro World!

Seriously though, we'll need to be careful in '06. A lot of the seriously contested seats were in red states this time just by the luck of the draw, and next time that may not be as true.

Might I suggest something new? National socialist party sounds good, it sounds even better when you say it in German.

LOL! Hey John...Quote of the day!

The DUmmie was not as DUmb as you think. The request for a lemonade remedy was almost certainly a reference to the saying, "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade."

What the DUmmies don't realize is that socialism is a big lemon, the kind of lemon that burns three quarts of oil a week and puts your mechanic's kids through medical school.

PJ....you may already have seen this...on David Limbaugh's blog, from an entry a couple days after the election, he said the following:

"Some posts I read from the spooky Democratic Underground website on Free Republic showed just how deep the liberal angst truly is. George Bush's America is not my America. I might as well leave the country,""

Found here http://www.davidlimbaugh.com/mt/archives/2004/11/liberals_not_co.html

He was reading DU posts ON Free Republic? Think he was reading the Dummie Funnies? :-)

Why do I feel like the cat in the bushes telling the dog to, "Go ahead and cross the street, they'll stop for you."

I think for the same reason that I feel like this dog...

Please DUmmies, please screech for homosexual marriage, "Heather has Two Mommies" in every classroom, Canadian health care and bending over for the terrorists. It'll win you seats. Especially in the Red States. Really, would I lie to you?

Yep. If they perceived reality in a way anything close to how it is, they wouldn't be hardcore leftnuts. So, they will percieve this election as something it isn't, and act accordingly.

going 90 MPH in your Toyota Shrimp

LOL!

But hey, I think all DUers drive Renaults...except for the occasional one who goes into a 1,000 word lecture on their long military service, they probably drive Toyota Shrimps, because they wouldn't feel manly in a Renault.

I wouldn't use the word dumb...just mistaken. You had what psychologists technically refer to as a "brain fart."

PJ....you may already have seen this...on David Limbaugh's blog, from an entry a couple days after the election, he said the following:

If David Limbaugh is reading the DUmmie FUnnies (maybe he is on the PING List) could it be possible that Rush is reading it too? The DUmmie FUnnies are a great source of radio talk show material. Unfortunately I had a semi-humiliating experience in this regard this morning. I had sent some threads to the DUmmie FUnnies to the Steve Kane radio show. His sidekick, Brian Craig, answered my call and when I made reference to the DUmmie FUnnies he sort of dismissed me as an "agenda caller." Well maybe I did have an agenda---to let his audience know what kind of crackpots the DUmmies are. BTW, Brian was very happy to read my FR post about how much I liked the Steve Kane show a few months ago.

Priceless.

Absolutely priceless.
