Gay-Friendly U.S. Bishops Outed by Homosexual Activist 'Catholic' Group
WASHINGTON, November 11, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Four of the most controversial left-leaning US Catholic Bishops have been praised by a homosexual activist group. Archbishop Harry Flynn (Minneapolis/St Paul, MN), Cardinal Roger Mahony (Los Angeles, CA), Bishop Mathew Clark (Rochester, NY) and Bishop Thomas J. Gumbleton (Detroit) were named in a press release by the Rainbow Sash Movement (RSM).
RSM is a group of homosexual activists which stages publicity stunts daring Catholic clergy to deny members communion. RSM members present themselves for communion while wearing a rainbow-colored sash indicating that they are sexually-active homosexuals. While Catholic bishops throughout the United States have themselves refused communion to RSM activists and warned their clergy not to administer communion to them, RSM notes that the four very liberal bishops "have welcomed RSM members to Holy Communion this past year."
RSM has announced to the press that it will be staging its characteristic challenge on Monday, November 15 at the 7pm Mass at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.

I'm hoping this is the short list...
Yeah, but hes reluctant to be orthodox. He only recently allowed an indult mass at St. Josphat's in Detroit (which I passed by every sat. for orchestra practice. By the way, where in the Lansing diocese are you in? im at MSU.
"Bad, pointless, annoying, creepy, modern hymns."
We have only sung one recognizably Catholic hymn in our parish since mid-August.
However, the diocesan B/bishops number approximately 192. Of those about 25,including the above named are bad. They are counterbalanced by about 30 that are very good to excellent. The other 110,or so,are the great mushy middle. Some may be excellent,I just don't know for sure yet. What I do know is that the situation is much impproved and improving.
When John Paul II became Pope,he probably had less than 10 that were good Catholic Bishops, and he quite possibly had no idea who those 10 were. Every night, when I say my prayers,I thank God that I am not the Pope.
