Where's He Coming Frum? Is Neocon Columnist David Frum a Mossad Katsa? by Joe Mitchell
Okay, now things are beginning to get a little out of hand among the chattering classes, especially those that are internet-based. The latest doozy of an accusation comes from none other than former White House Special Assistant to the U.S. President for Economic Speechwriting, David Frum, the man who is credited with coining the phrase "axis of evil," a fact that should compel one to closely examine this gift horse's mouth.
Frum ponders with no compunction in his National Review Online Diary column:
"Speaking of media bias, here's a question you won't hear in our big papers or on network TV: Does Yasser Arafat have AIDS?"
Frum laundry-lists Arafat's condition: 1) there's a confirmed blood disease; 2) he's lost one-third of his body weight; 3) he's suffering mental dysfunction; and asks, "What does this sound like?"
Hmm. Perhaps a 75-year-old man in the final days of his life.
I'm no defender of Arafat. I lean toward pro-Zionism, but come on, kids.
Frum then cites the memoirs of Romanian Communist Spy Chief, Ion Pacepa, which claims that the Romanians taped Arafat having sex with male bodyguards during visits to Romania in the 70's and 80's. This could be true. Maybe Arafat has engaged in homosexual acts. Perhaps he prefers men in the intimate context. He may be a devout homosexual. However, when I think reliable sources, I rarely think former Romanian Spies from the Ceaucescu regime.
Frum's logic is Homosexual=AIDS and vice versa, something that anyone who's picked-up a newspaper in the last 20 years knows is a patently untrue assumption. Also, remember that these alleged tapes were from the pre-AIDS era.
Even if Arafat is Homosexual and has AIDS or one of the two, fat lot of good it does now that he's ostensibly dead. The worst it could do is upset a few Muslim clerics with the job of sending him off to Allah. The Pacepa book was published in 1987. The "Arafat is Homosexual" labeling could have been helpful in sowing dissension among the fundamentalists of the Palestinian ranks during both of Arafat's bloody intifadas (1987 and 2000). This information would have been especially helpful during the second Al-Aqsa intifada, the one that basically killed the 2000-2001 Camp-David-Taba talks that happened to be the best shot ever at Mid-East peace and a Palestinian state. Where was this "information" when it could have actually been helpful?
So let's put Mr. Frum's logic in the mirror. Frum is Jewish. He is also a Canadian citizen. He is one of the few foreign nationals who have worked in the Bush White House. He coined the phrase "Axis of Evil" which cited North Korea, Iraq, and Iran as the greatest threats to American national security.
1) Anyone who knows anything about the workings of Israel's spy agency, Mossad, knows that agents of that intelligence and "special tasks" (read assassination and infiltration) bureau often travel with Canadian passports to disguise the fact that they are Israeli. (See Gordan Thomas' Gideon's Spies and Victor Ostrovsky's By Way of Deception)
2) Mossad is also known for having infiltrated all levels of U.S. Government in order to monitor and manipulate U.S. policy toward Israel. This infiltration includes the White House for the past several administrations.
3) Iraq, Iran, and, to a lesser degree North Korea, are not the biggest threats to the United States, but to Israel. Who, aside from the Oil Industry, would benefit most from U.S. military action against these countries? Can you say Israel?
Also, Frum is co-author with Richard Perle of An End to Evil, a book that advocates such Israeli hardliner notions as invading Syria and Libya, toppling the Iranian government, taking a hard stance with Saudi Arabia and ending the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
So in light of Mr. Frum's history, will anyone in the mainstream or non-mainstream press ask, "Is David Frum working for Mossad?"
Of course, if such outlandish rumor were true, fat lot of good it would do us now that he's no longer in the White House, and just a neocon hack.

It seems like Frum's been out of the limelight for some time. I haven't seen an article by him posted here in months. Laying low was a wise move on his part. It's not likely the knowledge of Frum's connection with the administration would have won the President any votes. Rather the reverse, as Frum's long been an obnoxious opportunist who tends to give the causes he's associated with a bad name.

So what, like others have said, he is or soon will be history as far as any real influence goes. And if I may be blunt, I much rather would see a few Zionist in places of power in our government, then some moron far left lib from lets say France, or some other commie oriented EU agent.
