Yup! The pathetic excuse of a son!
Comparing 9-11 to an election day that didn't go our way is, I believe, maybe a symptom of that problem with "values" the Republican Party likes to talk about.

I almost hate to say this but I'll be glad when the freepers inevitably copy and ridicule this thread. IMHO, it deserves ridicule.
This is way beyond disgusting. Rush needs to make this known right now.
SWEEET! Thanks!
"I have lived 61 years, lost my parents and my sister plus many many pets and this is the darkest day of my life."
Several years ago, I read a story which chronicled the life of one of the original female founders of the Weather Underground, a radical revolutionary group from the sixties.
The part that sticks in my mind was the fact that this persons father was a committed Communist, who had immigrated from Russia. The father knew Stalin personally. Turns out that the fathers sister had been sent to a death camp by Stalin, never to be heard from again.
The fathers prized possession, which he proudly and cheerfully displayed to friends and family was a biography of Stalin, which the 'great man' had personally dedicated.
For every murderous tyrant such as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or Pol Pot, there are a million enablers...true believers, who are totally complicit in the brutality and horror, though they themselves lack the will or active agression to actually participate in the madness.
These are the people who stand by silently, perhaps with an inner smile, as people are loaded unto trains like cattle.
The people on DU are prime candidates for manipulation by tyrants. Would they stand by as well if a leftist strongman assumed power and proceeded to 'correct' the American conservatives for their sins against humanity?
They are not just 'over there' they are here, everywhere.
They are always with us.
Much of that chatter on that site should be considered terrorists and anti-American. I hope the FBI monitors that site with the amount of threats it has on it.
Wow, did you know we're all "brainless f***ing Nazis?"
Let's take a hundred DUmmies and a hundred FReepers and compare IQs.
They so funny.
I have always questioned their (the demoncrats) patriotism since Lyndon Johnson before resigned.....why? Because they are all basically FDR socialists with a very strong Marxist bend: that is, they are pink tinged commies at heart! Never mind their "east coast elitism and snobbery personified by sKerry and we know whats best for you" attitude!
These people could disappear overnight and I can only think that America would be 1000% better!!!
Man, your post #47 ran a chill down my spine!
I'd guess you're right! :-) One poster who was angry about the thread, who was there when the towers fell, was tombstoned. The person (janesez) who said "I hope there's a terrorist attack - we deserve it!" stayed.
Wow. Some on DU are actually rational.
I wish they would explain what they mean when they say Bush should have "done something" to avoid 9/11 (he knew it was going to happen, you see, ala the Jamie Gorelicks and DUers of this world), yet decry going to war "needlessly".
I would like to point out to them that if he had "done something", if he had gotten advance word of the specificity of the planned attack (he did not), they would never ever have believed he was acting pre-emptively and preventing what eventually happened.
Never would they have accepted he acted in good faith. They need to come to grips with that and stop saying he should have "done something".
I am not surprised by their poll and the results. It's how I always perceived their "thinking". They would prefer President Bush and us dead and gone or under their control. They project their totalitarian tendencies onto we who are good and honorable.
I pity them.
You mean the depths of sickness.......
That last one isn't showing up; but it could be getting blocked by this work 'puter.

This is a stunning example of why we lost Edited on Thu Nov-04-04 08:34 PM by DWolper This way out attitude, I'm afraid, is what contributed to our loss Tuesday. How mainstream is it to believe that an election loss is more depressing than one of the worst days in the history of our land? To carry it out as some are doing is pointless. Example: "11-2-04 is worse because more will die..." That is prophecy that may, or may not, play out. How long do we extend the events of 11-02-04? 6 months? 4 years? 40 years? Comparing 9-11 to an election day that didn't go our way is, I believe, maybe a symptom of that problem with "values" the Republican Party likes to talk about. edit to add question mark.
