I Posted This On DU...

Having lurked without posting on DU (knowing I would want to see their reaction and post a "SO THERE!" after the election)I still have access......

Let me tell, you they are FURIOUS.... reports of crying, vomiting, moving out of the country (claiming other countries will welcome the 'brain drain' LOL), making new political parties, creating the most massive protest the world has ever seen at the inauguration, plans to boycott businesses owned by 'Rethugs', plans to organize a movement to block Bush's presidency and the Republican House & Senate, demand recounts anyway, disown Kerry for caving (lots and lots of calling Kerry bad names here), refusal to 'unite' ("hell no! unite with a murderer??"), multiple pledges to DODGE THE DRAFT, and on and on......

They are also quite shocked and puzzled. Where were the youth votes?? Where were the black votes? The hispanic votes? Michael Moore promised them the election! How could millions and millions of voters choose someone who read "my pet goat"??? When everyone knows Bush masterminded and engineered 9/11???

Anyway, here's what I posted. I made if fairly brief (as there is apparently a problem w/ attention spans with liberals).

HERE'S WHAT WENT WRONG.

Far from being a solid candidate, Kerry is only one in a multitude of interchangeable ABBs; a grotesque caricature of a candidate, merely a front man for the getBush crowd.

In their all-consuming hatred of Bush, the Democrats forgot they had to find a candidate with real substance - one that shell-shocked and fearful Americans could look to for safety, truth, and guidance in our newly-crazy world.

Instead, the getBush crowd has been so immersed in their Guiness-World-Record-Book-worthy tantrum and taken their hatred for Bush so seriously, they thought everyone else did, too, and would agree that ABB was a good enough candidate even in this unprecedented time of danger!

In Kerry, aka ABB, the Democrats have failed to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. They further insulted the nation by trying to foist an enemy collaborator on the nation at the very time when our military is in harm's way.

Not to mention that disgusting Tuh-Ray-Zuh.... faux "African-American"..... the DNC didn't hide her soon enough. We suffered through 8 years of that sleazoid king Slick Willy along with that COW Hitlery.. America was not about to suffer another 4 - 8 yrs of trailer park trash in the White House.

I say "Good riddance to bad rubbish - the whole lot of them".

When you all leave America, just don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out, please.

While you all run around screeching about the draft, please note that it has been the DEMOCRATS who introduced recent bills. Also, take your heads out of that dark place and know that Clinton had a draft "plan", too! Just like every other president in history has had a "plan" for every possible scenario...

While your brains are airing out, consider also that Iraq is part of a GLOBAL, not REGIONAL, war on terror...

I burned my account by pointing out to them that their stupid reference to Bush as * has new meaning. Now the asterisk denotes the highest popular vote total for a president ever.

Let them organize a gigantic protest and not realize until it's too late that there is nothing to protest AT :)

Like their big anti-war protest in San Francisco today. They amassed a crowd of 12.

I think I read that post that got you banned.

I miss trolling over at du, but they are quick to stifle any dissent or discussion (like immediate!).

Good to know the leftists are upholding their proud traditions...

I'm missing all the good schadenfreude today though. (anybody want to FReemail with a generic log/pass?)

How about seeing how long the screen name 'Freeper' would last in their enlightened corner of the Internet?

Kit.

Nicely done. I thought about registering on DU just for the sole purpose of dropping one like this on their doorstep on the morning of 11/3. I didn't - but you speak for many of us!

Oh my, they are delusional.

Too bad I no longer have an account over there, I'd love to read what they're saying.

That's an interesting theory, only it seems that it would
be difficult for them to count votes in private and on the
sly without causing a real appearance of impropriety. In
which case, the Florida guys in the Izod shirts with
smiley face badges would storm the door of their private
Democrat vote counting room.

The *funniest* part about the DU post on their front page :

"What happened? I have no clue what happened. As I said above, I find the result to be extremely hard to believe. In my disappointment, I find myself drawn to a number of possible explanations, some of which raise legitimate questions that need to be answered, and others which may just be the result of wishful thinking. We've got an incredibly smart and motivated group of people here. We need to consider all of the possibilities. If any particular idea has potential, then we need to pursue it. I have already seen many very compelling theories put forth on this message board, and I'm sure we'll hear lots of other ideas coming from other bloggers. Hopefully some of them will pan out. But I would caution everyone to avoid jumping to any conclusions. As much as we don't want to believe it, it may turn out that--to put it bluntly--the other side got more votes."

I swear, shine a dose of reality into these people's minds and their heads explode. "it may turn out the other side got more votes". Wow. ROFL

Remember, that after the 2000 elections, a bunch of newspapers went and counted votes in Florida every which way, counting the pregnant and newly born chads and Bush STILL HAD MORE VOTES.

No riots. No hysteria. Just a few sheepish folks slinking around looking like "he won the popular vote too?? Sheesh!"

Nothing here in Seattle, either. I think they're still stuned.

DU does not have the ability to ZOT.

They can only muster a poof from their leader The Poofster.

I'm pretty happy that with all the get Bushies, big money men wasting millions, mike moore and stars hammering, 527 ads bashing, massive turnout, voter fraud and registration taking place, they still couldn't take it.

That just means that next time will be a walk away.

I'm predicting that the dems will split, and you'll see a 3rd party emerge like the reformers did, and we'll be guaranteed an even bigger victory than we'd otherwise have in the next election or two.

Not to mention that a lot of their old style base is dying off now. Not to be morbid, but it's just the truth of attrition. And they won't be replaced that quickly. Most libs seem to become conservatives after they graduate from college, get a job, and have to start paying bills, and start to notice that an awful lot of their check goes to taxes.

The dems are done.

someone ought to let them know there is no inauguration when a president wins a 2nd term

Well if there's not, can you tell me what I, several of my friends, and family were doing in Washington in 84?
