Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling endorses Bush on Good Morning America

Curt Schilling, fresh from the Red Sox's World Series victory, told viewers to "tell everybody to vote and vote Bush" during an interview on Good Morning America with Charlie Gibson. GOOD FOR HIM! That is good for a few votes, I have no doubt, after his brave and bravura pitching. God Bless him for saying that on GMA!

You see, it all works out. I rooted on behalf of my in-the-tank dem boston relatives for the Red Sox, and I'm sure that they all saw this today. Maybe some of them will actually switch teams in the November World Serious, as my mom used to call it.

I think Senator Kerry won't as welcome to Red Sox fans as people think. Remember earlier this year when the Senator was lustily booed at Fenway Park and he threw that girlie-man "first pitch"?

I hope Karl Rove is speaking with him now and figuring how to incorporate him in an ad that has the clip of Kerry in the 2nd debate saying that the Red Soxs are in as much Denial as the President is over Iraq. Then cut away to the scene of the Red Soxs victory and then have Schilling say - John Kerry didn't believe in US and he doesn't believe in the troops. He only believes in himself and his own pessimism. Bush believes before the victory is sure and this is how every great war and fight in the world is won.

I have always loved Curt Schilling - ever since his daya in Philly. I admired his strength, persereverance and his dedication to his profession. I love the way his silently prays between innings. I wish more ball players were like him.

It comforts my heart to know that his one of us!

As an avid Cubs fan (there I hate the Cards) and a Yankee hater, this is the second best result (other than a Cubbies victory) I could have hoped for!

At the end of an interview this morning with Good Morning America's Charlie Gibson, 2004 World Series champion pitcher Curt Schilling of the Red Sox said "tell everybody to vote and vote Bush!" Charlie Gibson looked like he'd rather have heard Schilling drop an "F" bomb than to express support for Bush on his show.

I wonder how long he'll be considered a hero in Boston now that he's not bowing and scraping before the Left Kult.

Speaking of heroes, when Gibson brought up Schilling's heroic performance on the mound despite his ankle injury, Schilling was quick to give heroic credit where credit is due: our men and women in uniform fighting for us overseas. Gibson probably didn't like hearing that, either.

Following Millar's lead, Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling went on ESPN yesterday and described Rodriguez' actions as "bush league," adding that such a thing was "not unexpected."
