Tell me people on FR just caught Neil Bush's wife smearing the Bush family for a solid 20 mins on network television?
The reporter for 20/20 did the biggest smear on Bush I have seen on the network in years. Not one person was interviewed on the Bush side of the story...all for the ex-wife. The way she made it sound it was as if the Bush family were the Corleone's from The Godfather series.
ABC presented the most one sided smear I could imagine this close to an election. When the woman who just took over Barbara Walters asked the reporter when it ended why is she coming out with this now? He said "we have been trying to track her down...and just did recently"
WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! He said it with a smirk!
Granted...Neil Bush doesn't come off at all as the wisest of men...but it was the complete trashing of the Bush name and family that really got to me. They put on 4 people who were anti-Bush and even did a Michael Moore-esque style of showing the cops pulling up outside Neil's house at night when the 20/20 cameras were there and telling them to leave and asking what business they had there...very Fahrenheit 9-11 like.
I missed it because I never watch 20/20.
An obvious smear job, and the reporter delivered his report, and asked all his questions, with a smirk on his face. This report had zero news value, but only one purpose. We all know what that was.
The dems must have upped their price.
You mean ABC is biased against Republicans? Who'd a thunk it?
Wow, they are really lowdown aren't they? And all you hear is how dirty the republicans are campaigning! This is just sickening to me. I won't watch the trash when it is on in the West.
What did they say about the President?

And this post was moved to no man's land. ABC managed to throw 40 mins of pure anti-Bush propoganda together tonight to top it off with Cat Stevens and his crying because he supports Hamas and can't come back to America.
Remind me why we shouldn't be outraged?
oops, sorry for that double post... wireless connection problems...
And i'm still waiting for any of the MSM to do an investigation of Skerry's divorce from Julia Thorne, or a report on Skerry's refusal to sign the Form 180, or Teresa's refusal to release her tax forms so that America knows how she and her husband spend/invest John Heinz's money.
Still waiting....
Still waiting....
Waiting....
It is all about the "Bush Corporation" how Barbara wouldn't even let Neil's wife take wedding pictures with her!
Remind me why we shouldn't be outraged?
Nobody cares. At least Neil's ex-wife had the guts to come out against Kitty Kelly.
Most everybody discounts ex-wives and ex-husbands. They've got axes to grind.
Time to start a real push to get that investigation going if you ask me.
Even Vanity Fair (!) did a fairer job of covering Sharon and Neil Bush. To wit, they didn't whitewash her actions at all, unlike ABC.
The country could care less about Neil Bush. But ABC and that smirking reporter who did this story were just completely out of their biased minds last night. Never seen anything like it. Not one balancing point of view.
"It is all about the "Bush Corporation" how Barbara wouldn't even let Neil's wife take wedding pictures with her!"
This was one of the sillier comments Neil Bush's ex made! She said that Barbara Bush asked her to step out of one of the wedding pictures...she just wanted a picture of herself [Barbara] and her sons!! That, dear Sharon, is ALWAYS one of the pictures taken at a wedding...the mamas involved want at least one with just themselves and their kids!
Sharon Bush probably WAS given a bad deal...Neil Bush probably had one of those "mid-life crisis" things, and shame on him for treating her so badly. Sharon would have shown a lot more class by just refusing to air dirty linen.
Wonder why we never saw similar hit pieces on Bill and Hil's siblings and THEIR various marital problems?
The smirks from the ABC hacks is what drove me nuts.
