Keep on going, your "candidate" will still only get as many votes as the population of the city of Waco, or less...
So what's the alternative? Keep voting for more government control over our lives? Why is that a less futile approach?

I wasn't on the Internet for the six weeks I was hospitalized ~ quite a few FReepers called me and my wife kept the other email friends updated. :)

No. They should have done their homework. The truth is a double edged sword. Is it their fault for "not doing their homework", or the Republican candidates fault for not getting that message across? If they gain enough votes that the conservative vote starts to get evenly split between them, who will you blame then?

Usually a child has to put tweezers in a light socket only once.Non sequitur, or just way obtuse?

Non sequitur, or just way obtuse? Niether.
If a child puts tweezers in a light socket, he gets shocked. He learns.
If he does it again, he didn't learn the first time.
If he keeps doing it, he's a serious candidate for the short bus.

I never argued about intentions.
I argued about predictable results.

The truth is a double edged sword. Is it their fault for "not doing their homework", or the Republican candidates fault for not getting that message across? It was all over the place and you would have to have your head in the sand to miss what John Klein's position on the issues were.
If they gain enough votes that the conservative vote starts to get evenly split between them, who will you blame then?
If we get to that point, there won't be a liberal candidate to worry about.

I know.
I remember.
A bunch of stuff went down then as well.
And I missed some of it even while being there.

I never argued about intentions. You seem to disagree with the observation that if they wanted to give you Kerry, they'd vote for Kerry.

You seem to disagree with the observation that if they wanted to give you Kerry, they'd vote for Kerry. Not at all. If they wanted to give us Kerry, they WOULD vote for Kerry.
Perot voters did not necessarily WANT to give us Bubba and his evil minions, but that they did.
The INTENTIONS may be pure as the driven snow, but the RESULTS are what we have to live with.

It's a lost cause, Darksheare!!!
The guy has his head hopelessly too far up his ass.
He'll rather have Kerry as president, just to screw "tax-and-spend liberal" GWB.
Just pathetic.
