You have a wrong assumption in your post. Burkett was in the ARMY National Guard, not the AIR National Guard. In several places, the format used by the Army Guard appears in the Burkett memos, rather than the format used in the Air Guard.

So the format errors suggest that Burkett might have made the forgeries, rather than someone else.

I'm well aware of who was in what part of the Guard.
The format I'm talking about is the latest Rather memos are in a format not used by ANYONE in the military at that time. This format came into being in the 1990s. The
"Memorandum For...." is a big tell tale sign.

I think Burkett wrote, or one fingered the docs then he had one of his grand-kids who are conputer literate to re-type and format...of course, they've probably never seen a typewriter.
