Ladies and Gentlemen:
From the success of the protest against Dan Rather and 60 minutes outside the CBS studio in DC on Tuesday, it's time to organize a second protest at the same location Sunday morning September 26th, starting at 8:00AM for approximately three hours.
The reason for this date and time is that there is a weekly media stakeout at this studio, to interview guests who have appeared on Face The Nation.
TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: 60minutes; cbs; dc; facethenation; newbie; protest; rather; september26

Wish I could be there to join you. YOu might want to "ping" Kristinn and Angelwood about this - they can get the word to the fantastic DC Freeper contingent.

Anyone listening to CNN live in West Palm Beach Wednesday afternoon and mrs. Judy Hunt would have had to strain to hear the protestors across the street, but I finally figuted it out after listening hard.
About every 30 seconds, I think someone screamed, "stop Dan Rather NOW!"
At least, I think that's what they said..anyone else hear it?

Thanks for the suggestion. We were considering doing this. We have to see who can show up. Are you in the area and if so would you show up?

No disrespect to a newbie but Discpad you need to understand the DC Chapter's highly structured method for calling Chapter meets. As a general rule, the Chapter Warlord or the Chapter Ringleader are the ones that set the time and place for our street actions.
You of course are free to do your thing and invite others to join you.

Also, NYC Area Freepers:
"Radio-Television News Directors Association"
It doesn't get any better than that.
I am in the area, and would show up, but I wouldn't want to do this by myself.

Kristen:
Thank you.
I'm in Cherry Hill, New Joisey (6 miles due east of the Liberty Bell); and will be coming down with several friends from the Delaware Valley and Manhattan.
If you have friends in the Delaware Valley who want to come down, I have a comfortable 8 passenger conversion van.

I noticed the Infinity Broadcasting logo as part of the Viacom "empire:" That quickly explains why Howard Stern has been so vocally opposed to President Bush after Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction."
...And don't think Howard Stern can't swing an election: Just ask Mario Cuomo, after Stern endorsed George Pataki in 1994.
Les Moonves sitting next to Hillary! at the 2000 DNC sums it up nicely.
