The group that seized three Western hostages this week, said to be Abu Musab al-Zarqawis Tawheed Wal-Jihad (Unification and Holy War), demands the release within 48 hours of all Iraqi women in prisons at Abu Ghraib, near Baghdad, and Umm Qasr, in the south of Iraq. The Associated Press reports that U.S. military deny holding any Iraqi women. Yet, the BBC and the Agence France Presse say otherwise: that the U.S. claims to hold just two Iraqi women. One of them is identified as Rihab Rashid Taha - the woman dubbed Dr Germ for her role in developing Iraqi biological weapons. The other woman is Huda Salih Mahdi Amash, known as Dr Anthrax, who was on the US-led coalitions list of most wanted officials of Saddam Husseins regime. Agence France Press claims that Amash and Taha are detained in Abu Ghraib.

We should dump the bodies on the street, booby trap them first.
A thought.
They were into that stuff up to their armpits and most likely know where every WMD dump is located.
Zarkawi, et al, obviously don't.
That demand tells us that al-Zarqawi is wanting to develop biological WMD.
al-Zarqawi is dangerous. He and al-Sadr are vying to be the next bin Laden.
[We need to take both of them out, or we will be dealing with them for the next decade.]
Sorry -- the headline should read
TERRORISTS: "FREE THE WOMEN" [DR ANTHRAX AND DR GERM]
since it is the terrorists who are demanding the freedom of the women. (Ironically, some of those making this demand are the ones who claim responsibility for abducting the two Italian women on September 7.)
Let's see whether the Associated Press come around to identifying the women whose freedom is being demanded. Doesn't quite fit the MSM's story that WMDs have nothing to do with the Iraqi war.
Yeah! Women have too long labored under the bondage of Islam! Free the women! Free them from the shackles of Sharia and the bhurka! Free the women now!
See, the terrorists and I can agree on something finally.
One of the groups claiming to hold the two Italian women (Simona Pari and Simona Torretta) also demands the release of female Iraqi prisoners. Not surprisingly, the women whose freedom they seek are not identified as biological weapons researchers but as "faithful women Muslim prisoners."
Thanks for the ping!
