Savage playing clips of Blather interviewing Saddam (BARF!)...then ripping on O'Reilly because he's been defending Rather. He calls him the "Brown Nosing Leprechaun", LOL!!!! Looks like Michael has stopped waiting for Bill to come to his senses......
Also, this is unrelated to the topic but take a look at a pic I designed. Someone in a thread today (showed pictures of Kerry playing soccer) mentioned that he's done all sports except for two: synchronized swimming and bullfighting. I got an idea-- this picture illustrates America under a Kerry presidency:
When was the last time you heard Savage say anything nice about ANY public figure other than himself?
I think that is a perfect picture!
Kerry has been GORED!
Savage always has a racial slur handy, eh?
He might be computer illiterate or phobic.
A newsman who relies on the Old Media for his information might as well rely upon the pony express.
When was the last time O'Reilly broke a news story other than one about his own incompetency.
There's very little Savage could do to impress me, but he had a chance to confront O'Relly on Wednesday during the Radio Factor and he punked out.To behonest I am embarrassed to listen to Savage, even on those occasions where he might make some sense. He makes Bob Grant seem like William F. Buckley.
Thanks :-D
That is as far as I got. . .LOL.. LOL. . .trying to get a grip here. . .!
Have not even read the 'whole thread'; but think a prize is in order!!!
Obviously missed 'that' thread; but thanks for this one!
Don't listen to them. Hear him for yourself and then decide:

I edited the photo and started my own thread
"Kerry hires new Hollywood operative!!!"

Enjoy :)
Yeah. Savage has a lot of good ideas, but he's too full of himself to express them in a way that inspires the listener. Kind of like Pat Buchannan.
Too bad the far right doesn't have even one intelligent, charismatic, well-spoken champion.
It galls me to see how our national debate has gone from being between the center-right and the center-left, with fringes on both sides and most Americans in the middle, to being between the center and the fringe left.
When mainstream conservatives, moderate Republicans, and even moderates like Bush get demonized as "Nazis", "Bigots", and "Kooks", it not only wrongs them-
but it effectively disenfranchises those of us who ARE on the far right.
Last time, people- "Nazi" is the German abbreviation for "National SOCIALISIM." The Nazi's governing style was a nationalist foreign policy, socialist domestic policy, capitalist economic policy, and rigid suppression of dissent. Where in the world today do we see this emerging? Yep, Red China.
I've listened to Savage for the last two weeks and I don't recall a racial slur. Today he kept greeting the callers with "Hello infidel," which was kinda strange. I think he just talks off the top of his head a lot and doesn't censure his statements. He said something about red diaper doper babies at one point, but I didn't know what he was talking about. I have enjoyed some of the tangents he's gone off on, such as how happiness includes pain, and how our lives and our moods shouldn't resemble a "flat line." He talked about being depressed since a teenager and how it's been good for him to have to deal with it instead of taking antidepressants to dull the mood and "flatten" the line. I've also enjoyed his take on Kerry and Dan Rather and other things that have happened lately. But he doesn't strike me as having a lot of tact.
Actually, he does occasionally offer praise for public figures, when they are DESERVING of it! Maybe you just don't listen to him enough. But yes, he is a pretty hardnosed egotistical bastard...THANK GOD!
The problem with O'Reilly is that his "no spin zone" is a pretty small circle. He steps out of it all the time. Drudge caught him lying red-handed several times, back when O'Reilly was about to start his radio program, and when O'Reilly had his back up against a wall, he lied, rather than admit the truth. So I don't hold much respect for O'Reilly. He sometimes does some good, but he's basically just another egotistical lying media bastard. I believe Savage is right when he says O'Reilly just wants to take Dan Rather's spot!
