GENERAL PATTON SPEAKS ON WOMEN IN COMBAT BY Steve Newton

LANGUAGE CAUTION

ON YOUR FEET!!

AT EASE!!

Well, now, I have heard some stupid ideas in my life but this social experiment using the military as a test ground for women in roles that place them in combat situations is horse crap. And you will just have to excuse me because it is NOT my job to be politically correct. It is my job to make sure my army can fight.

First, let me say that women in the military do a fine job and should be recognized for their service. But for the same reason I am opposed to homosexuals in the military applies to women in combat. I am against ANY distractions that could place a soldier in danger. I am against ANY distraction that keeps my army from their jobs, which is KILLING the enemy.

Are the same training standards used for women in combat zones? If not then you as a Commanding Officer have unqualified people working for you and they are GOING to be killed. Do women in combat train on, use and carry the same loads and equipment as other soldiers? If not you have just planted the seeds of resentment among what should be a close-knit team.

Hand me some of those stats son. Ok, lets see what we have here:

U.S. Central Command is not tracking the number of troops who must leave the Iraq war theater due to pregnancy, prompting military advocates to charge the Pentagon wants to keep secret what could be an embarrassing statistic.

Ok, I don’t believe this for a second. Those bastard pencil pushers keep track of EVERYTHING. Lets continue:

During the 1991 Persian Gulf war, the press branded the destroyer tender USS Acadia the "Love Boat" after 36 sailors — 10 percent of the women aboard — became pregnant while deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm. My god! The love boat: Sounds like a damn TV show. Can you imagine what that ships captain was going through and what kind of crap he had to put up with from his superiors? More: Of British forces in southern Iraq, 82 women were sent home in 2003 after discovering they were pregnant, reported the London Daily Telegraph, which quoted government numbers

There have been anecdotal reports of unmarried soldiers becoming pregnant in Iraq. One military police unit reported losing three women for that reason. Pfc. Lynndie England, the 21-year-old photographed holding a leash attached to an Iraqi prisoner, became pregnant during an affair with another soldier at the Abu Ghraib prison compound in Iraq.

A high-ranking officer has described women in the combat zone as a COMMANDERS NIGHTMARE. This Commander had already lost three female soldiers in his Battalion to pregnancy.

As in the case of Pfc. England, pregnancies can be embarrassing to the military. In May 2003, the Marine Corps were forced to bring a Marine back home after she gave birth on a Navy warship in the Persian Gulf. She told superiors she did not know she was pregnant.

Now, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that it doesn’t take two to tango. And I am not blaming the people involved, Hell their just doing what comes natural. I blame the bastards that came up with this idea. But when you put men and women together in close quarters under stressful situations and thousands of miles from home, these are the things that are going to happen. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out does it? Pregnancies can hamper military readiness by creating hard-to-fill vacancies. And this I simply will NOT tolerate. A presidential commission in 1992 found that pregnancy was a main reason why the non-deployability rate for female troops was three times higher than for men during the 1990-91 Persian Gulf conflict. This is HORSE MANURE AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! People YOU CANNOT SCREW WITH THE MILITARY by using it as a testing ground for some sort of social engineering. The military is not a microcosm of civilian life. It is a world unto itself whose sole purpose is to KILL. As I have already told you, ANYTHING that distracts my men from their jobs is not satisfactory and will not be tolerated. There are many jobs that women can fill effectively and serve their country. But combat is NOT one of them. When soldiers and superiors are worried about anything other than getting ready for and they engaging the enemy you have just lost the edge. And it may be the edge that costs lives.

NOW GET YOUR ASSES OUT OF HERE. I’VE GOT WORK TO DO! AT EASE AND DISMISSED!!!!

isn't this the guy who filmed his landing on an island in the pacific numerous times purely to get the best dramatic effect days after the invasion actually was completed?

Here is a somewhat related blog I did a few weeks ago. It was entitled free boobs, but I think it makes a statement about women in the military.

So where were the free boob-jobs when I was in the military? To think they got me with 30 days paid vacation, now they’re giving away free plastic surgery. Did I ever miss the boat?

Actually, all kidding aside I find this infuriating. When all of our troops do not have the proper body armor and snipers have a website asking citizens to supply them with much needed equipment that the government does not, what in the hell is the army doing performing plastic surgery, (including nearly 500 breast enhancements) for free?

When the bungling hero Jessica Lynch was taken captive after getting lost, wrecking her humvee, and firing not a single shot because her gun was jammed our first question was, “What was she doing there in the first place?” The answer to that jewel was that she only joined so that she could go to school to become a teacher. She didn’t expect to go to war. So what will happen when our military is full of vain little girls who only joined to get the free boob-job?

Make no mistake, it will happen. Breast enhancement is an expensive surgery and it has been so advocated in Hollywood that it’s almost considered a necessity. There will most certainly be girls joining the military for the sole purpose of getting a free boob-job. Meanwhile our troops will be scraping for body armor and dry socks that the military cannot provide for them. My son is now in JROTC and looking forward to joining the military. Will I have to worry that the person covering his back is only there for size D breasts?
