Dan Rather planned a whole program around these memos AND BARNES only and I have to believe that Blather KNOWS ABSOLUTELY whether they are altered or complete forgeries or real. The brief history I read on Barnes yesterday told me all I wanted to know.

I'm sure there are many Lt. Colonel's out there going: Yea, right...I'd put that "sugar coating" and "talking to someone upstairs" junk in a memo "TO MYSELF" and then hide it for 30 years only to have it mysteriously emerge at just the right time for Bush's campaign and die before it gets out besides.

Kinda reminds me of Hillary and the FBI files.
