Love it. Like pigs saying, "I'm tellin' ya, if we don't get dirty, real dirty, we're in trouble!"

The Democrats are going to lose because they took the path of the coward and selected a candidate who believes nothing.
The Democrats deserve to get stomped, next time pick someone who reflects your beliefs.

contine to lay down in the face of filth like that spewed by Zell MillerWell, Senator Kerry had up until Miller's speech to address his Senate record. No one else did, so Senator Miller finally did.

"That 11 point bounce we all deny exists is real and it comes from the junk-yard-dog attack against is. That attack has gone mostly unanswered, just as it did when Al Gore was running" Unanswered for good reason -- the points were irrefutable facts.

I seem to remember someone named Dean getting really mean......did not work out so well for him, either. Maybe a credible candidate with a proud record of service and a solid plan for the future would help.

Do any of you really understand how important this election is to our country's survival? It would seem not. It would seem not??? These people are going nuts and he doesn't think they're taking it seriously enough?

Susan Estrich said the same thing yesterday. If they don't have any mud, they'll make it up, such as the alleged booing of Clinton yesterday.

I hope liberals follow his advice. I hope they really do get angrier, shrill and relentlessly negative. I want them to let the public no they have NO message.

The sad truth is that getting mean, real mean, is all they have. If they fought a fair and square election based on issues they would lose every time and they know it. The only hope they have is they can lie, spin, deceive fast enough with the complicity of the MSM and make some of it stick.

I hate to tell them but their ship had sunk.
I got home from seeing President Bush in NE Ohio a little bit ago, he did talk about the issue's, he did tell about tax reform, Social Security, Homeland Security, fighting terrorism etc...unlike Kerry who has only his 4 months in Vietnam to talk about we heard about what really matters to us.
To: DixieOklahoma
The only counter to this is to get mean. I mean real mean. Comparing Bush to Hitler isn't mean? The mudslinging lies of Michael Moore and Ted Rall isn't mean? What do these people mean, "mean"?

This DU poster is delusional. A 60/40 Kerry landslide? In the entire history of the Democratic Party since the time of Andrew Jackson, their candidate has only reached the 60% level twice--FDR in 1936 and LBJ in 1964. Since the end of WWII, the only time the Democrat has gotten as much as 51% of the popular vote was in 1964.

To DU: Meanness is not necessary or key. Honesty, and perception of it, is what is missing and important.

They have already been as mean as their imaginations can take them. They have no further down to go, that it is not guaranteed they are willing to go, if they only knew a more disgraceful behavior to pursue.
They've fired their ammunition, and there's nothing left to reload with but spitballs.
