Nah. I don't know of any granddaddys of communism who sent Washington a letter congratulating him on reelection. Nor do I know of Washington having a response sent back reading thanks.

But totalitarians find so much to hate about Washington. He left power while in perfect health! How could a popular man do such a thing! And all this balance between a powerful central financial force (Hamilton) and largely independent geographic agrarian areas (Jefferson) does not really suit any totalitarian at all.
