I agree with this.

My half brother returned from Vietnam and eventually killed himself. I haven't been proud of this. Yet, now that I see how the returning Vets were treated, imagining how that awful rejection must have tried the sense of dignity of all of them, it is understandable that those without support or the strongest of constitution may have broken in one way or another, or felt alienated at the least.

I think the protesters were pigs, plain and simple, and, like all leftists, completely underserving of the service of those who fought and fight today.

I have a newfound compassion for my departed half brother, only a boy when he went into combat, as a result of the folly of Kerry the pitiful.
