The Alston Story Goes Back Farther Than First Thought
As early as May of 2002 the Rev. David Alston and Senator John F. Kerry commenced perpetrating a deliberate fraud on the American electorate Ð a fraud to present Alston as an eyewitness to KerryÕs self-reported heroics in battle. They lied about the action on 29 Jan 69 aboard PCF-94. Contemporaneous reporting from the Associated Press (Jim Davenport, 4 May 2002), The State (Columbia, S.C., John Huiett, 5 May 2002), and The Boston Herald reveals Kerry and Alston's untruthful representation of John Kerry's service in order to claim the record of an officer who was wounded in the very same action.

This combat mission was undertaken by John Kerry on 28 February 1969, only Alston wasnÕt the gunner. The gunner on that mission was Fred Short, who had joined the crew of PCF-94 two weeks earlier to replace Alston, who had been medevaced on 29 January after his injuries in combat. We know that because Fred Short received a decoration for his action as gunnerÕs mate during that engagement, along with everyone else on PCF-94. John Kerry won a Silver Star, and the other four crewman appear with Kerry and Short in a photograph commemorating their awards. But Alston isnÕt one of them.
Kerry and Alston began two years ago to publicly perpetrate a fraud on the people of America to further KerryÕs aspirations to become the commander-in-chief of our Armed Forces. ItÕs time for Americans to know what theyÕve done.

It won't be. The media wants Kerry to win and is serving up Democratic talking points and rebuttals and worse, attacking Swift Vets or anyone else out there attacking or even criticizing Kerry.

I've voted in every election since Nixon/McGovern and have never seen the socialist left being so embraced by the major news media.
We are quickly becoming a European Democracy where the state is more important than the rights of the individual!
If you attack the Alston story they will probably say 2 things
1. we have a picture of them togeather(which doesnt prove squat!)
2. they would say your a racist since alston is black!(you know the democrats like to play the race card whenever they can and i know they would love to use it)

Kerry’s Brief Brotherhood
The truth behind a sensational rumor about Kerry’s “band of brothers.”
In the last few days, there's been a new accusation floating around the Internet about John Kerry's Vietnam record. It involves speculation that David Alston, one of the "band of brothers" who served on board Kerry's Swift Boat, did not actually serve with Kerry at all. If such a story were true, it would be sensational news, given that Alston has made extensive public statements, including a speech at the Democratic National Convention, about his time with Kerry. The only problem is, it's not true. Alston did indeed serve under Kerry.
I heard John O'Neill on Hugh Hewett's show today,
and John said they are still looking into it,
but Alson MAY have served about ONE WEEK with Kerry.
