David Alston is the black fellow (in case you've been out of the loop)
Is this photo semi-staged where some served under Kerry and Alston was an add on for political correctness. Remember, in Viretnam JK often mouthed off about being president some day
If Alston was replaced on 28 February 1969, how does he end up back on the boat two weeks later?
The picture gives the impression of heat. Two of the men are in T-shirts, two are without shirts. Alston is wearing a black T-shirt and a camoflaged shirt. It just appears odd.
Am I right that the men stand away from Kerry in every service photo from back then?
Another question which arises now that I saw Alston's picture at the convention, is that in the convention picture it does show a huge scar, but in the boat picture there is no evidence of injury. I realize that it is possible that the boat picture angle might not show any scarring, but it is still curious.
That's the contention. That Alston was never a member of the crew on a boat that Kerry commanded.
Clearly the man on the far left is without his tags and it appears that Kerry is also without his tags.
Of course, it may just be that they were being 'sensitive'.....who knows.
This is Photoshop fake.
Those on the left had the sun on their left side.
Those on the right had sun on their right side.
The shadows indicate fraud OR that Earth had two suns that day.
do you notice the shadows in the pictures dont all move in the same direction . they must have some special sun movements in that part of the world.
Someone on another thread postulated that this photo may have been "Photoshopped" to produce the picture of Kerry in the same shot as Alston. I believe that idea was discounted, but I'm not so sure. In the photo, Kerry himself appears completely detached from the rest of the subjects; as if he's not even aware of them, or them of him. Look, too, at that weird object upon which Kerry's elbow is resting. What is it? If you enlarge it, it appears to be a formless mass that simply melds into the background. Very suspicious, in my opinion.
Look at the nose and head shadows of Kerry and the man next to him and then the nose and head shadows of the man in the middle. Kerry and the man in the middle have their heads oriented almost the same way yet show different shadows. It's been a long time since I studied portrait lighting and I forget the terminology, but nose shadows are very important to portrait photographers and I think it would take different lighting setups to produce the different nose shadows.

"PCF (Patrol Craft Fast) 94 crew in March 1969,"
Interesting picture. What is the actual date? Before or after Kerry's last purple heart? WHERE IS THE INJURY? OR EVEN THE TWO PRIOR INJURIES FOR THAT MATTER.
We are only talking about a 4 month span after all.
The "Alston never served with Kerry" angle seems to be a loser when you look at the picture of Alston with the crew members of PCF-94 and Kerry. At some point, Alston was with Kerry. We need to rap up these lose ends before we scream they didn't serve together. Otherwise, the opposition will simply show that photo and ask whether your eyes are lying.
Furthermore, conspiracy theories about doctored or staged photos are a loser. That picture of Kerry and Alston has been around for quite some time. There is not a conspiracy to doctor or stage photos. There is however, some question as to whether Alston was with Kerry for the period of time he claims (and Kerry fails to correct the erroneous assertion). Someone needs to find out when Alston returned from his injuries. Was it after the Feb. 28, 1969 Silver Star episode? How about the March 10?, 1969 Bronze Star episode.
We need the help of someone else who was there.
is this a "real" picture. Reason I ask is this. The 4 other men look like they are in the same picture and if you notice they kinda make a U. Kerry looks like he was dropped/Photoshopped into that pic because his body is facing like a different direction and from a body language POV, looks to me like possibly this was maybe (not saying it is) super imposed into it. Based on the stories, I've heard about Kerry reinacting his battle scenes and such for him home movie camera, is there any way to see if any one can figure out if this is real or fake?
Thanks.
Did anyone respond to your question about the picture?
